Feeling: awesome

3:40 Mid Sunday Afternoon (13 December 2009)

5 Months, or 5 years, or a few college degrees later

I thought I might make mention that this week Caleb and I have been married 5 months and I graduated magna cum laude with a 4.0 my last semester of undergraduate education. It's been a big year what with Caleb moving to be with me and starting his PhD, getting engaged, buying a house, getting married, my graduation....

It's been a good year for sure. Today I am chilling out with my grandparents and getting ready for an early Christmas dinner, as in a week and a half Caleb and I will be off to New Zealand for 3 weeks over the Christmas Holiday. And apparently Dad decided that having both grandmas here meant that we should open all the gifts extremely early. I'm okay with that.

I don't really have a well laid out plan for the next five years, I'm not sure how long I'll take to finish my masters, what I'll do in between finishing my masters and Caleb finishing his PhD, where we'll go when he's done, if we'll move back to New Zealand or somewhere else entirely, what we'll do with Luxio, etc etc. But for now I'm content to sit back, relax, enjoy the successes I've just accomplished and prepare for the next onset of pressure, stress, classes, and life in general.

When we say goodbye to 2009, there will be few regrets and many happy memories.

I wasn't planning on having the ovary out. It was sort of an emergency surgery. But I'm getting better, just recovering from having four holes in my tummy now, haha. Hope your trip is going well =)
Wow, you're really close to 1000 posts! Nicely done! =D
I'm just doing my yearly check in to sitD (and you probably don't remember me XD) so I probably won't be here to congratulate you on 1k, so congrats in advance!
