12:13 Early Sunday Afternoon   It's Monday Somewhere Every day, we have fresh news. and I think it's really interesting how, as soon as someone dies, a lot of people begin lamenting the loss of such a wonderful being. Even the people who thought the deceased was an asshole/bitch, or incredibly dull, or a complete moron, etc. I brought this up, recently, I said "So...I've noticed everyone has stopped making fun of {insert deceased's name here} since he drowned last saturday." But, of course, I came in just a few moments too late -- The coworkers I'd told this observation to said, "Well actually..." and proceded to make a mockery of the deceased. I wonder, is it really respecting the dead if we pretend that we loved them when they were alive? Anyway. 121 days until I go home.
