9:34 Sunday Night   Lanterns and Tall Kisses I ended up being too lazy to go down to the shops. I biked to Laura's but only stayed about an hour and a half. I made her a card but that was about it. Mm. I felt really out of place; the only people I knew were Laura and Yvetti. The other girls were ... I guess friends of hers from her youth group. I sat, I looked through her photo album and oo'ed and aww'ed with everyone. Then we had food. She opened presents, then I left. I couldn't stay too long because i don't have a light on my bike and I didn't want to be stuck on the streets in dusk with no light. The plan to go to the rugby game at Jade Stadium didn't pull through. In fact, a lot of the plans I had for yesterday fell through. First, going to the rugby game. That didn't work out for various reasons. Then going to Zebedee's, that didn't work out either. Caleb was too tired and Arina was hanging out with Kerry who was also too tired so I just went to Caleb's to watch rugby on free tv. I woke up at 6:30 this morning because i was so hot. Then i went back to sleep because it was 6:30 and that's a repulsive hour to be awake on a sunday. I got up at 8:30ish, got dressed and we went for a 2.5 hour drive to that place where they filmed rohan in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have no idea, but that's what daddy said. It was a 5 hour drive round trip for about an hour and a half walk. I'm really not sure if it was really worth it. I was sort of eh. Not into it. It was okay, I like hiking, but I don't like long car trips. I got online when we got home, and I discussed the pros and cons of swimming with Chelsea. If I don't swim --The Pros: No more having to compete. Time to do homework/ballet lessons/Key club Get a job, maybe Have a life Caleb can come in December I can ski No more waking up at 4 a.m. for practice Eating what I want If I don't swim --The Cons: No more waking up at 4 a.m. for practice Being less disciplined Not being part of the team ...there are more, but they are insignificant. I don't think I'll be on the team next year. It was an insanely difficult choice but it's made and I'll miss the team but hopefully I can still be friends with them. :) Coach's rules are simply too strict for what I want to put into the team. I want to be dedicated but I don't want swimming to be my life. Anyway, then my sister and I went to the park and threw around the disk/ball thing that Caleb got me for my birthday (random...) and I swung on the swings! and it rained. Then Caleb, Dad, and I went to Victoria Square and saw the lantern festival. I thought it was pretty. Then I came home, and am watching AI on tv. I think I'll go to bed.
