9:21 Thursday Morning   I'm Pleased with the Time Turns out that Mickey has diabetes. It seems a complicated disease for a cat. But I've had a cat that died of cancer too. Way before her time was up. :( Gosh I sound like a crazy cat person, but i guess maybe that's what I am. Not the happiest phone call to get in the morning, but at least it was something that we can keep under control and the conversation wasnt' one that goes "hello, this is teresa." "Oh, I'm sorry, I was looking for Pam or David.." "Yes, this is their phone." "Ah, well this is Mr. Vet person from the Animal Vet place and it is about Mickey." "Oh?" "We got the blood test results in and I'm sorry to report that he has liver cancer" or something to that effect. so yeah. not happy, but definitely not devastating..except maybe to the checkbook, right? eh? eh?!!?!! i'm so funny. okay. also on the bright side, Caleb was online this morning (at 2:40 his time. a.m.). He was just finishing his Classics homework. And he e-mailed me. There's something about those e-mails... This week is almost over. yes. Now if all the weeks would go this fast. until December 12th.

You're right! This week is almost over. I didn't notice, I've been so absorbed in other things. I don't really know what though - perhaps just work and stuff.

You're welcome, about the sympathy thing. I'm good at sympathy. And empathy. (And apathy). All those -athys, some better than others.

They reckon that something like 1 in 50 cats is diabetic. Or is that dogs? Maybe it's 100, or 500. Quite a large proportion, anyway. I'm glad it's

treatable. I'm a mad cat person too, but not so much recently actually. I guess I've just been irritable and you have to be patient when you live with my cat. She's so loud, annoying and demanding.

Sry to hear about the cat... well, both of them actually. I had a cat the died of cancer too, but she was annoying, so I really don't miss her too much.
