Well I wouldn't worry too much about falling short of Jesus because I think everyone else does it too. In fact I'm sure everyone else does it too.
Yeah I shouldn't get pleasure from a lot of the things that I do...
I think God is the type of person to cut out the bad bit and love the good bit.

I am always scared of dying. If I have an argument with my mum I have to make up with her before I go to sleep in case one of us die before the morning.
