Sunday, 4:18 p.m.   Looking at the Hailing Sky Paint yourself in purple and pink. Last night was the rugby game. We left sometime between 6:10 and 6:15 to pick up Caleb, and drove to Steve's house where we found that we wouldn't be giving Steve and his son Max a ride. Because Angus was coming, too, and there weren't enough seatbelts. Daddy followed Steve to the Jade Stadium. Caleb took my hand as we walked from the parking space to the stadium. jump into the clouds and wave hello at me. It was raining slightly. I was wearing my mom's big trench coat which was difficult to maneuver in and not any warmer than my black wool coat. We held hands as we walked down the sidewalk. Even though my daddy was there (but he wasn't paying attention, he was talking to steve). Angus and Max meandered along. Sometimes they'd meander right in front of Caleb and me, and we'd have to walk extra slow. I'll come with you next time you go insane. A guy standing a bit outside the ticket stands gave me two free tickets, he seemed frantic to get rid of them. I took them, only a little bit hesitant. I was like "yay free seats! Probably they suck! but yay!" Told daddy we'd meet him where we came in, and went to find our seats. I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve today. It's gold and sticky. It was cold. Have I mentioned how cold it was? It was freezing. We found our seats and cuddled. Trying to share body heat. And also it's just really nice to cuddle. Canterbury did well, as expected. Yay canterbury! I think the other team pretty much gave up at the start of the second half. Laugh at the flowers' bright faces. Canterbury was scoring tries left and right during the second half. Around the second one they scored in the second half, I was looking at the big screen to see the score (because I actually care, and I can actually follow the game). Caleb kissed me. Now, I'll repeat that bit again. He kissed me. Chuck large bits of bread at ducks. I wouldn't let him stick his tongue in my mouth, though. Not when there's so many people around. But he kissed me lots. Yay tries giving distractions and opportunities for kissing! The game was over so fast, 81 minutes just fly by when you're having a good time. Find the elephant in the sky. My left pinky and ring finger had gone numb. They were completely white. He put his arm around me and we waited for my dad and steve and steve's kids. And he took my hands and tried to warm them up when we walked back to the car. count the stars starting at the northern horizon and work your way west to east southward. God I love being sixteen. I can hold a boy's hand and daddy won't get mad. I can cuddle with a boy and daddy won't get mad. Mom would but I think its because she's secretly jealous. Anyway. On the car ride back to Caleb's house, he held my hand and I fell asleep with my head on his shoulder. Fall asleep with me in the grass. I went to church this morning. His church. It was good. I did a lot of praying. I do so wish to find God. Even though today is talk like a pirate day, I didn't take advantage of it. How sad! Anyway, after the service, we sat outside and talked. I was going to walk home when he left, but his mum invited me over for lunch. Break out the bag of oreos, we have some decisions to make. That was nice of her. We ate sammiches. I was even preparing myself to eat meat, but we made our own sammiches (relief). After that, we cleaned up (I helped! I am such a polite girl! and also wish greatly to make a good impression!). They invited me to go along with them to the botanical gardens and so I went along with them to the botanical gardens. If the cream lands on the left, it means yes. We walked around the botanical gardens, it was very nice. Holding hands and stuff. I think his family is great. Parents encouraging their children to climb trees! His mum told Caleb he should take me canoeing on the Avonhead river. We sat on the bank and he kissed me. If the cream lands on the right, it means try again. His dad drove me home when he went to drop off Caleb at indoor soccer. I don't know how I could thank him enough. It's been a lovely day. It was a lovely yesterday, as well. Perhaps tomorrow will be lovely as well! It's the holidays! Happy Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day!
