Listening to: Hinder - By the Way
Feeling: hollow

So I mentioned to the boy last week that my roommate and I should switch rooms cuz I clearly have more stuff than she does, which was not expected at the time of renting. I was assuming someone would move in with baggage and collected furniture, but this girl shows up with like three suitcases and no furniture. A few days later he simply agreed with me and I had to have the room. It would drives me nuts if I didn't ask her. So she walked in the door and I asked her. She said she didn't mind, apparently my room is 'cooler' anyway with the colors and hard wood floor etc. I think she'll be warmer at night in a smaller room with less windows. I fried trying to sleep in that room. So I suppose it will work out for the best for both of us.

So I took apart my bed frame to move it and waited for her to come home at 10:30pm. She came in and suggested that we do the move a few days later, but I already had my bed apart and I was not sleeping on the floor for the next few days esp when we were both there and awake at that moment. So I kinda made her move that night. I kinda felt bad, but not that much. She can sleep in til like 11am, she won't lose sleep if I make her move at 11pm. I was the one that had to get up for work early. I didn't really feel bad giving her the smaller room either because a) she doesn't have as much stuff (that whole closet and she had like 8 things hung up) and b) she's not around that much to even appreciate the room and c) she doesn't come home/sleep there every night and I do.

The only issue so far is the dog. Max freaked out when we were moving stuff around. He thought we were moving away without him like his last owners did. He had eagle eye on us all weekend. I finally showed him I just switched rooms and invited him he eyed the floor he'd have to cross, eyed the table he'd have to walk around, eyed the bathroom he'd have to be brave and pass, and he simply gave a frustrated stance and whine and turned around and went back to the front room. Sigh. That'll prolly need some work. My poor scardy pooch. But he finally made it in the room that night and he was running all over, tail wagging, so proud of himself for making it to the room, excited that my stuff was still there, excited to have access to the only other carpeted room in the house, etc.

The weekend was really boring otherwise with the prospect of moving into another room and no sign of roommate all weekend. All I did was eat, sleep and do DDR. Yeah, the boy bought me DDR for Christmas. Weee. I did get the Flip camcorder for Dallin tho. Got a pink one for Marissa after I realized how much fun she'd have with it.

I stopped making any activity plans that involve money the rest of the year. So now I juss look forward to the simple things in life. like DDR. a new room. finding my check books. a white christmas tree. pink ornaments. a tv in my room. a babys birth. gmas bday. thanksgiving holiday. the cruise. wrapping gifts. window shopping. Min coming home. Christmas time.

When is Gunner gonna get here?.....He is due today.
