So I was shopping online at Staples for chair mats for my Dad for Fathers Day and naturally I found all their clearance items and went through 'em. Mindys fault. I found my mats for $10 each verses the $40 plus for the regular itemed mats. I also found a hot pink task chair for like $30 verses the $60 plus chairs they were selling.
So I subtly told the boss he should buy me this pink chair. I said, "Hey, you should buy me this chair". I showed him the website ad, the price, the place, I told him when the sale expired, etc. He suggested I try sitting on it first. I didn't think you could b/c you had to assemble it first. But I said I'd test it out and see if it was worth it *cough* For thirty bucks...who cares if its comfortable, its got a heck of a lot more padding than this one does that I'm sitting on. A very large lady kinda squished it all out the past 4-8 years.
Haha after the lunch hour it was bought and sitting in my office in its box. He even put it together for me.
Now I have a bigger surface of chair to sit my ever growing butt upon. And its bright pink! Doesn't match the green carpet, but what does?
He said "Pff, they only wanted $26 buck for that! How can you go wrong?!"
Ah ha. I knew it'd be the sale that would get him.

I come in work 15 mins late and I leave 15 mins early. I don't do much while I'm there. I might even fall asleep for an hour while he's out to lunch. I don't even have to go to Court, the bank, or the post office. And I get paid mucho monies to do such laziness. I even get new things upon request! Did I mention I love my job?

I walked in the door from getting the mail and this spider flew down the side of the door by my shoulder and I like flipped out. The boss just walked out of the office and was watching me come through the door and freak out. After some weird rapid breathing and skittering away quickly attempting not to scream all I said was "I don't do spiders". He got that sly smile and said "I'll get it" I forgot I had the mail in my hand and he came back to get it after getting rid of the spider and I knew he was just laughing behind those eyes.
