Monday I finally had the energy to go to the gym, turns out the boy didn't. Oy.

So we went home and I decorated myself with tattoos and permanent marker while watching Season Five of Lost.

Tuesday I wanted to go shopping. I wanted shirts/tank tops. From Platos Closet.

Turned out to be clothes shopping for the boy. First store, he grabs a handful of potentials from the 10 racks that make up the mens department and heads to the fitting rooms. Tries on a few pants and realizes he's gotten a bit bigger than last time he shopped (prolly a couple years ago). Bigger sizes are replaced and he continues on. He tried on what, two pairs of pants, and found one that fit, was comfortable and he liked. PFF! From that stack of maybe 12 items he chooses two shirts, shorts, pants, and a swim suit. That's almost literally a whole wardrobe (or replacing a wardrobe) for a guy for like five years right? I dunno, crazy. It was super easy shopping with him besides witnessing his choice of style (still shows his age), all I had to do was wait for him to try them all on and make a 2 second decision of what he wants to buy. And he didn't even take long to try them on, fast dresser I suppose. He made it look so easy.

Now, compare that to a girl shopping. man oh man. First of all we can't juss go to ONE store and get everything we want/need. Ridiculous. Then we have like 20 racks chuck full of clothes, plus the clearance racks. Sure we can grab a handful of potentials to try on, but to change into all of them takes forever, and then deciding which ones to actually guy is a whole another ballpark. And of course there is some more complaining, exchanging styles and sizes, and analyzing about each outfit etc. And we certainally couldn't spread the wardrobe out to all its potential in an sufficient amount of time or reasonable amount of money. From shoes, pants, shirts, dresses, swim suits, leggings to jewelry, we juss have more to buy!

Anyways, I was tired and in pain so I didn't really want to shop anymore after watching him breeze through it esp finding pants that fit him. PFF! But I went anyway and browsed and picked up a handful of potentials like he did and got tired of looking and went to try them on said "meh" to all of them but I wanted to leave and leave with something so I bought them all. Next time with more energy I'll be able to go through that whole store and find more. The boy found more shirts he wants to see me in and helped me buy them (the only stipulation that I wear them, he helps buy). Sure he can try and dress me but when I tell him which shorts look best on him he buys the other pair... pff...

So tired and we were hungry we had been shopping from like 6-9pm. We ate some my mac and cheese and I went to bed. I was just drained for some reason. No energy. So tired, hungry, and pain again. Sleep is a wonderful thing at times like these.

Oh and at work today....haha....funny story.

So the boss comes to work on his lil' motorcycle. He calls the court to make sure his hearing is cancelled in Provo and that the Court got his mailed-in disclosure and the backup fax he sent of the disclosures to cancel the hearing, right? The court has no record of anything being mailed or any fax of the disclosures so the hearing is still on. He's mad as a hornet. He gets on his bike and goes back home to get a car and drives all the way down to Provo. Later that day while I'm in the office alone, the other counsel calls and I tell her that Jim is on the way to the hearing, so she decided it would be a good idea to go too.

Then even later the County Recorders office calls me and asks..."whhyy do I have an Initial Disclosure from your office?" haha ooohh crap. Turns out the mailed disclosures went to the recorders office instead of the court, hey, the envelope both said Provo on it, my bad! So the court never got the disclosures certificate, BUT they should've gotten the fax that was sent later juss to confirm that the hearing would be cancelled. Thank you God for not having someone else call and ask why they had an Initial disclosure faxed to them....

Meanwhile, Jim is at the court and the clerk is sitting there blinking at him confused "we got your fax and cancelled the hearing". So both counsel went to the court for no reason and the court finally made up their mind as to if they cancelled the hearing or not.

Best part, none of it was my fault! Well, okay, the sending the dislcosures to the wrong place was my fault, but we did fax it directly to the Court later that week! Correction kinda fixed there right? Well I thought it was funny for a quite a bit after he left for Provo and I got a call from the recorders office. But he ended up blaming the court and calling that county incompetent (and not me!). So its all good except for a huge waste of time for everyone and the poor client has a bigger bill now.
