August 7th I realized that I have been to like 6 or 7 weddings since last August 2008, well, since 2008 period. And now my Kirri is getting married in December! December 19, 2009. Five months to mine and her fathers birthday. I met her fiance on Saturday, August 8. As much as I hate to admit it....I approve of him. It's funny how alike they are...They're cute. And apparently I'm a bridesmaid fer her wedding. She gave me a button pearl necklace. Real pearl! Now I have two real pearls! One from Loryn's wedding and one from Kirri's! I got home in the middle of the night. Carefully searched for any holes in the house that I might fall in. There was one when I left. Went to find the key rack to put my keys away and ran into the fridge. (remodeling the kitchen) Discovered the microwave is outside on the back patio...along with all the cupboards of food and stuff outside.... Saw giant spiders all over the place. Freak. Out. I took me Dad to the Fair and the Rodeo Saturday night. Lately I've...been going Daddy Daughter dates whenever I come home and it usually ends up being at the fair grounds. Last time was the Demo Derby. Then the Rodeo. It's cool. Some bonding time with something we're both interested in. Cuz apparently...no one is really into those kinda things.. The Rodeo was definitely entertaining tho. And instead of leaving the parking lot feeling invincible like a Demo Derby car, I felt like a galloping horse moving to that rhythm. Mwhaha! I stole Kirri's jacket cuz I fergot it was like winter up in Logan. I wore heels. I ate cotton candy the whole time. I found a stuffed snake and a dollar bill on the way to the car. I saw the Fair amusement rides. It was like a mini version of Lagoon and a lot more expensive. And I can do that and much more for free now. :D Sunday, August 9, I went to church with Kirri and Eric. It made church a whole lot better with them there. Then we watched stupid Derek do his awkward strut across the room at the Linger Longer. teehee. Run away quickly! Talked to T.L. Watkins. Damn he's not dating anyone yet... Run! Saw Joe from the bus to USU in 2006. Been awhile... he's not dating either. Run! Colby, Kirri's brother, is still hitting on me... Run! Phew, never going back to that ward, thas fo' sure. Took a picture of Kirri and Eric and went to visit Natalie. She had Sean Patrick and crew over from Denver, CO. Three Sara's in one room. They drove all night, been awake for like 31 hours and pritti much pooped out at Natalies house. I think that is very dangerous and stupid of them. I smothered a baby girl in kisses and gave her a bracelet. Ate their food, played Spades, stole some music and left to Resas new house. Was greeted at Resas house with her friend jumping up and down on a tire iron on her car with Resa watching her jump. Apparently it was a lesson on how to change a tire. Met Resa's black kitty! Fluffy! Hairy! Saw what she bought at IKEA. Was jealous of her color coordination she had going on. Red and black. And her house was beige. Teehee. Adorable. Totally jealous of Resa. She has a hubby, a car, a house, a backyard AND a cat! Went to Dallins and watched "Pay It Forward" and ate Loryns cajun dish. Yum yum. I soo want that for my birthday dinner...when that comes around... Apparently Loryn got "let go" or fired from her job. Not really sure why. She works with children so I think that was the hardest part, leaving them with no goodbye. Hopefully she can get a better job now tho. Blessed in disguise? Try and convince her that now... Poor girl. I got fired once... Got back to SLC around 1am. Bed at 1:30am. But today, August 10, I'm just completely and utterly ornery. Completely. Utterly. Definitely. ORNERY. I don't want to talk to anyone. I don't want any socialness, no interaction, nothing. Leave me alone. My sister is annoying. Her screaming boys are annoying (and I get to babysit tonight), her neighbors are annoying (babysit them too) and sorry Grandma I just..don't want to chat right now. I thought it was just me being grumpy in the morning. Turns out my period should start soon.... Wearing weird outfits, getting sweaty palms, eating like a pig, irritated, sensitive to touch and words, etc. Why hello Aunty Flow!!
