Last night I went up high into the hills to pay $40 for a Mino Flip Video Camera, which intended purpose was to give to Natalie "for Christmas", but I decided I kinda like it... a lot.
Its small and lightweight, looks like a phone, very simple to use like 6 buttons and the big red button in the middle to start and stop recording so I'm thinking even older ppl can do that right? I bought it home and did my first video on my dinner. Then I videoed Grandma and Mom. Kinda awesome. You can charge it and download videos from the USB port, no cords or anything. And then I when I went to download and charge it I found the cool software it comes with. Again, easy to use and you can share/email it, you can download it directly to your facebook page or whatever, click and drag the video into your hard drive. The video can pritti much go -anywhere-. But one of the funnest things I saw was the greeting cards. They have birthday or wedding cards that you can put your video in and email it to family or something. Very personal greeting cards now!
I can video Sarahs wedding and put it in the virtual wedding card and email it to her family in AZ since I dont think they'll be able to make it to her wedding. That would be awesome! You can video the kids in their costumes at Halloween and email it to Gma in a card and see her grandkids and not a random pic of a bear dressed like a pumpkin that says "Happy Halloween".
Anyways I had ideas brewing out of my head after I saw the software and many ways you can distribute your videos that are so easy to take and download. Only $40 bucks too! Man that was a deal.
I figger I can spend that much on Natalie considering I dont expect her to not lose it or break in the next 6 months. But I think I'm going to borrow it a lot, if not steal it from them. They wanted a camera like feature to it also, but for $40 take it or leave it kids. yay for new toys!
And that raise I was talking about a couple months ago finally came true as of today. I get $200 more/extra each month, but with taxes I only get like $160, but thas okay, its still a raise and its more/better than what I had before! Woohooo. I get a raise -and- some acknowledgment. "Thank you for all you do" (as in all the stuffs I dont know how to do) and "I'm glad you know how to do it cuz I dont" (that one kinda worries me a bit, he'd sink a bit if I died morrow I can see). I'm not worried about having to pay Mindys mortgage in June, I think I'll be just fine financially with the way I'm going. I dont need a roommate to help pay, just for company which apparently I'm forced to have.
I should celebrate by going to Sizzlers....alone... again... I found a coupon for the steak meal for $8 and endless salad bar for an extra $2. That can feed two ppl right there. Man, I need to get a date. Its a good week for me. And morrow is Haddens Bday party! Yay for the only family member that doesn't have anxiety or complete ADD issues and can function in society! He's the only family member without those issues cuz he's married into us crazy folk. I guess Sarah doesnt have those issues, but she should cuz shes the one marrying my crazy bro.
