Feeling: sleepless

Scare of Night #4 - Thursday

I was assigned possessed again. I went and did make up and they decided to re-cast me back to the doll room. Apparently all the dolls they had planned called and cancelled. So I changed costumes and went to the doll room with my possessed make up on. It kinda worked I had my mouth all stitched up which helped b/c I decided not to talk much that night.

I was kinda glad they switched me cuz I wasn't fond of the girl I was going to share a room with and then I got a more jumpy role so I could get my own screams, ya know. Kinda fun. No one was in the next room so I got to play in that room also. I decided being a doll was awesome between the two rooms. The axe murderer next door had fun in there too. We just had a blast together running around hiding and going through secret doors to cut off customers.

Well one of my best scares for the next was one of the first ones I did. They came in a big group, it looked like some teenagers/older siblings up front, then like a 12 yr old boy in the middle and the older parent figures in back and I ran up right in the middle of that group and screamed. Fortunately it happened to be the youngest boy in the middle who got the brunt of it. He asked his dad a question over his shoulder as he walked and he was waiting for a response when I screamed. It was like a wave everyone around him jumped or moved quickly in some way while this kid instinctively threw his arms up and attempted to hug the wall while screaming. It seemed like a prolonged scream merely cuz he was trying to say something while screaming. It sounded something like "daaaddddd". Everyone turned and stared. Did he just really say that? The kid seemed shook up about it and everyone in the group touched him, shook him, put their arm him and attempted to ask if he was okay while laughing.

The other one was a group of four girls. Two in front, two older ones in back. One of the younger girls saw me behind the door as she came in and didn't say anything as I followed the last two ladies in. The girl who saw me stopped the group in the middle of the room and watched me as I crept toward the two ladies who hadn't turned around yet, so naturally they turned to see what she was looking at and I started running at them. The two older ladies were all screaming and holding each other. hah. Then they started yelling at the girl who saw me and saying you're supposed to tell us whats coming if you see such! The girl said she that was the point, not to know.

Thas what I got from behind the door. Using the door in the next room I got a lot more screams. I'd run through the doorway screaming just as they approached to go into the room. I got a group train I jumped out at the first guy and the whole...train that was linked together kinda toppled over. Well the first guy just crossed his arms over his chest and tried his hardest not to jump or run and act all tough. The girl behind him flew back into the wall and the rest of the train was still attached and toppled over the toy car in the room. That guy who crossed his arms over his chest was almost as good as the guy who grabbed his heart before flight. I guess it was their eyes that made it more awesome then just the jumping.

One girl was closer to the door than I thought and I almost ran into her. We were literally face to face staring in each others eyes screaming. That was kinda fun. I love the adrenaline it brings. One time a girl stood back from the door and used one hand to fish open the fabric door before walking, ya know, being cautious, and I jumped out at her screaming and her fingernail scratched my nose. Shed a tear. Get ready for the next scare. hah.

There was a dad and two kids that were about to enter and the dad stopped them and started explaining something to them, I'm not sure what, maybe that something usually scary happens in rooms with strobe lights and in the middle of his explaination attempting to scare the kids I jumped out at him, he jumped and brought all his limbs closer to his body (but stood his ground surprisingly) and his kids started laughing at his reaction and he kinda "blahed" at me like 'why'd you have to do that I'm trying to get -them- scared not me.'

Then there was a bigger tongan girl who I jumped out and screamed at she had the loudest scream and biggest mouth and biggest eyeballs popping out that I have ever seen before. It was wickedly awesome. For being such a small size I am I sure made big her scream big.

I have to admit I got scared when I was using that doorway. The adrenaline is great, but sometimes you syke yourself out. I jumped out at a group and two walked past me and then I heard a scream right next to me and I turned and this mexican was screaming his head off simply cuz he saw me when he turned the corner, I didnt even jump out at him. But his scream kinda scared me cuz well, I wasn't purposely trying to scare him at the moment.

Some of the dolls heads are electronic and security gave me the trigger to make their heads move when ppl come in. mwhaha kinda awesome. The night went by super fast tho. I seriously didn't want to stop ever since I started using the room next door.

We didn't have a lot of energy that night, have to admit. We didnt have a lot of actors either. And they syked us up thinking a lot of ppl would be coming in that night but it was a pritti dead night. They still claim this weekend will be the busiest. I'll believe it when I see it. So we'll see. I'm just not so excited to be there til midnight.

I think I'm crazy enough to work on Saturday night too.

And for today at work I'm yawning like crazy, I'm falling asleep all time, like a fly dropping all over the place and this is the third time I've deleted a document I shouldn't have on accident simply for clicking the wrong button or forgetting what I'm doing with what document. Gar. I don't know why I'm so tired I got the same amount of sleep as I had any other night this week and was fine the next day.
