I am amazing.

I...am amazing. No, really. I am. Since we pulled grandma's bed back up here to the office, I asked dad if, in the process, he pulled any cords or anything that might have disconnected the internet. "No." he said, and advised that I go check them anyway. Well I did and silly me, I didn't even notice the space in the box where there should have been a powercord. Desperite to check my mail, I came to examine it again today and noticed that small dilemma. So, poof, I fixed and now there is a connection. I am sooo good. Besides saving my day, I woke up feeling like my head was going to explode. Sleeping on the awful pillows I have here didn't help much. But I went to bed with a minor fever and think I woke up with one, too. I've been hot and cold all day. I took some short cat naps but everytime I fell asleep, the phone would ring. And when the kitchen phone rings you'd think a Herse was going to come driving through the living room. Dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun...Mozart, I think it is. But I could be wrong. Anyway it's annoying. And then a man shouts out the telephone number and, on top of those two obnoxious sounds, the phone actually rings, too. I am so sorry I convinced mom to buy that phone... I took grandma to the library. She was happy about that. She's really into Linda Howard right now. She likes those murder mystery books with a touch of romance. I borrowed one of her books yesterday. Almost 100 pages into it. She said it was a real nail biter but I guess I still have a bit more to go before I get to that because so far, I've just been amused. Kroy's last soccer game was yesterday. I went of course, as promised. Took lots of pictures. Karen will have plenty to choose from now for her scrap book. Erg, I need to go back to Tempe now to get my laptop so she can pick out the ones she wants...oh well. When I got to the game, Mike was there, so he and I chatted for a bit. He told me about the musical's opening night and some department drama, this and that. Before much of the game had even progressed he had to go and prepare for the nights performance. And right when he left, Karen arrived. It's a Miller filled week! I am much looking forward to the play tonight, dinner tomorrow, and another dinner on Sunday. I just hope I get my appetite back because right now I have none. : ( I'm a chatter box today... Kris comes home today! ^.^ I'm sad that it's Friday and my spring break is all but over, but on the other hand I'm really happy that Kris will be here for a week . Ok, well, off to write or read or...sleep. Carrie

Oh wise Seer. I saw many a dirty blonde this week, albeit in a slightly different sense of the word. I think I fell in love twice, but you know me: that just means it's a normal week.
