Everything Begins Here

Busy, busy day. I'm really exhausted and I have yet to go to astronomy lab. Ick. I need another Sunday nap. We had our first Thread rehearsal today--wasn't much of a rehearsal, to be honest. Most of the cast was over with Guys and Dolls and Erin told me she might not be able to do the show. I talked to her about it, reasoned with her--her reason was that she needed to work to start saving up for college. I talked to her, reasoned some options because it's a shame to give up the good stuff in high school for something you'll be doing the rest of your life--working. So rehearsal wasn't much of anything. But I did go to Mardis Gras and found a costume for Lord Byron and when I asked the guy if they did discounts for schools, he said yes, $50 flat rental free for as long as we need the costume. Yay! So Miss Rose has a pooch now. That made me happy. I've felt sick all day. I think it's because I had so much food this past weekend--so much rich food--and my stomach's not used to that. So it rebelled today. I'm so glad I only have one class tomorrow. I can get caught up in all my classes and get some sleep, too. Our toilet is plugged again. The water's at the rim. All I gotta say is, I didn't do it. Our room also smells. Maintence came today to spray for bugs. So it smells. I'm going to have a stomach ache tonight from the weekend and a head ache from the bug spray. *sigh* Oh but really, all is grand. ASU signed on a contract to join this program called Ruckus so students can download all the music they want for free, it's fabulous! We can't transfer to our ipods or anything, but we'll figure out a way. For now, I'm just enjoying new sounds to block out the TV. Also, I found out that I really like Lindsay Lohan. Her singing voice is so different from her regular voice and her lyrics aren't too shabby. And for those who like John Mayor and Jack Johnson, check out Gavin DeGraw. Really good. He sings that Nice to Meet You Anyway song. Crystal and I went to a photo exhibit tonight--it was a girl's senior thesis. Impressive work; a lot of double exposure, or work in photoshop. Neat stuff anyway--very inspirational. I shall have to take a stab at it... Alright, well, that's it. Tomorrow is astronomy, rehearsal with my fashion models, and then I don't return to Saguaro until Friday because I've got CV Wed. and a psyc exam on Thurs--ick! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some reprieve, at last... I got a 97 on my last astronomy lab, which puts me on a coasting border grade of 89%. Tonight's lab was a real breeze though--soo much more enjoyable!--so I'm hoping this will pull me to an A. I'm also counting on a decent astronomy test grade...*crosses fingers* Our toilet is unplugged. One of the guys in CV fixed it. Yay! Toodles Carrie
