Diamonds are a girl's best friend...

Well, I honkered down with gifts, wrapping paper, bows, and my classic movies. Watched Bringing Up Baby (not that funny), Rebel Without A Cause (wasn't anything like I thought it was going to be), and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (and I have to admit, every movie I've seen with Monroe, I've really enjoyed). By the end of the day my back ached horribly and I still wasn't finished. Both my parents went out shopping, leaving me to conduct dinner (frightening). However, I did pretty damned good. Made a green bean casarol, rice, canberry sauce, and roast chicken (okay, I confess, the chicken came from Fry's, all I did was cut it.) Kris came over after work and, remarkably, everyone ate my dinner. Go me. After dinner Kris passed out, leaving me to continue wrapping and I had definitely lost the desire to fold even one more corner of paper. Tomorrow I need to finish wrapping and I'm meeting mom at the mall around noon to finish up Christmas shopping...it never ends, I tell ya! : ) Carrie
