Hero of May

I had another entry in mind to put here, but after writing it, it seemed really stupid and pointless. Thus, I erased it and leave you with thus: Tomorrow night is prom and I am so fortunate to be one of the lucky ones to get my hair done and go to a nice dinner and spend a night with awesome friends. My sister is amazing. I can't say anything more than that; amazing. Thank you to all my friends for all the inspiration you've given me. I also have to give a giant high-five to Karen for helping me out with my composition, which I have to finish writing this weekend so good luck to me. This month's hero is my band director, Mrs. French, who has sacrificed more than any band studentwill ever know, understand, or appreciate. She's given me so many amazing experiences and opportunities and getting to know her more, I'm getting to understand it now and I take back every bad thing I might have said about her. She's been an inspiration and a real trooper! I wish her the best and will be terribly upset if she decides to leave us next year, but I wish her the best in whatever she does because the best is what she's given me. So thank you. I'll try to keep doing a hero of the month. I rather like the idea. Carrie

I really love the hero of the mornth Idea. I think it's grand. I thing people underscore how much teachers and role models actually sacrifice to be there and teach us. Way to prove that even our hearts still have something to learn, Jillie.
