Vernacular

Feeling: violent
I've been meaning to make this bracelet/wrist band thing for a while and never seemed to have the patience or the stuff to do it. I don't keep crap in my closet for no reason, i swear I intend to use those things some day. I cut off part of some old leather pants that were my sister's and turned it into my very own arm band thing. It has a really cool silver botton (rahter than snaps) and I sewed on a little draw-string pouch that has three things hanging from the strings; a mock NY liscence plat (it's really small), a small key, and a botton that has VN on it. The pouch has VN on it too. I don't know what it is supposed to stand for (some stupid fashion company i guess) but for me it stands for Vernacular; personal styles expressing individuality in the language that all teens of this day in age come to understand. Anyhow, it's a lot cooler than it sounds. I'm proud of it. It's a BU bracelette; as in, Be Yourself. Homemade stuff is the best, I'm telling you. Carrie

I never would have guessed you made that. I am impressed. If I had skill, i'd do the same. Maybe I can make something in tech...
