Miss Momentum

Listening to: Maroon Five
Feeling: antsy
Well, I did something tonight I haven't done in a long time. Went out with Nikki. Both of us were without plans and everyone seemed to be with someone else, so just the two of us went to NYPD (New York Pizza Department) and a movie. The pizza was just as good as the eye candy, which I magically had a perfect view of, as I always do. I'm skilled like that, what can I say? We saw Confessions of a teenage drama queen. I don't think there was a single guy in the entire theatre. It was...ridiculous and cute, definitely a one-timer. I sat down to read something on the computer and decided I couldn't do that. I'm antsy again and have to write, but not with the novel I've been working on. Tonight I reached the point of "well, maybe the idea really sucks and I lost whatever it was I was trying to get at, maybe I should drop it". On the other hand, I'm thinking I just want another project to work on. I finished The Dive from Claussen's Pier and I think I need to try a realistic novel now. Branch away from fantasy. Actually, I was thinking of writing a story based on Nikki, Kaylee, and I. We really do make a good story, if I can piece it correctly. And it wouldn't be us, but characters based on us. I just think that the two of them have such amazing characteristics, SCREAMING to be written in a book. I shall try. Play, poke, prod. Dad came to my practice a little bit today. I managed to slam one into center for him. Cody was with him too and he kept going crazy everytime Lindy picthed the ball. He's an odd one, truly. I think it's all the TV he watches... I'm really excited for tomorrow- project band room! Yippee! WOW I'm a NERD! *smiles proudly* Oh, that reminds me, at the theatre I bumped into this kid John Confordy that I went to jr high with. He's changed a lot. Smokes a lot. Can't say I'm surprised. The sad part is, we both recognized each other because we rode bus 28 with Bruce, this big fat, harry and sweaty bus driver whose favorite pass time was yelling at us and making up stupid rules for us to abide by. John's best friend was Greg, who was so obsessed with duct tape that he made a pair of shorts out of them (this was before the big duct tape trend, mind you). Weird what I remember and what I don't. I remember a distinct moment back in first grade, even pre-school, but I have to really think about what I wore to school yesterday. *Thinks* Oh yeah, now I remember. : ) Carrie
