The stage is set--for next year

Feeling: dreamy
The thespian initiation ceremony and banquet dealy tonight went very well. The monologues sounded great, the food was good, the awards were awesome, and we elected offices for next year. Nikki is president, which is a very good thing. I think she'll do some great things with the club. As for me, I'm historian. Yay for that. The seniors said their good-bye speeches and all and I think, what I really got out of the whole shebang, was how much I really do love theatre, and how, for this entire year, I had forgotten. As of right now, I'm pretty sure I won't be doing softball next year so I can be more involved in theatre. So, next year, my final year at Saguaro: I'll be drum major, thespian historian, I'll have the Literary Magazine, and those will be my main three areas of focus. Huh, oh yeah, and school work. It's going to be one hell of a senior year. Absolutely savvy. Going back to how the night went, after the thespian thing it was like, 9:30 so we decided to hit the improv for play and pay. It was really fun tonight. A lady was there from the Tribune taking pictures so there is a good chance that my picture will show up in the paper; the Living Section she said, Thursday. Karl's brother (Karl is the drumline instructor at Saguaro) is taking classes at SCC and wants to make a short film with some students so I'm going to his little dealy on Tuesday to hear all about it. It sounds really fun, but I'll know more details on Tuesday. "Home is such a vague word. It's a place of comfort, of shelter, strong and stalwart and always there for you to go back to. Underneath those lights, surrounded by these faces, I feel the warmth of a place called home and see it all around me." Carrie
