The "Over-the-Hill" Gang (plus some)

Tonight was the first rehearsal for the Over-the-Hill Gang. The music was easy and the parents (some of which hadn't picked up an intstrument in a good 30 years) did surprisingly well. There were parents, alumni, current students, and Saguaro staff. Mr. Miller plans to organize a Saguaro community band, which is an awesome idea since most people pack up their instruments after high school and never play again. It was so neat to hear everyone and see how excited they were to be playing again. Anyhow, that group will be performing at our concert next Tuesday night. It was an all-around pretty good day for me. Slept till about seven, then got up and began a little cleaning, little work, and headed over to Kristofer's house. Ate Panda for lunch, went to school about one, went to all my classes and did nothing all day. the average attendence in my classes was six. Anyone else? The best class was math though--got my quiz back and totally scored an A. I was stoked. I only made one stupid mistake, but oh well; An A is an A! Alex and I recieved more info about ASU tonight. Heather (from church and played in the group tonight) was an RA for McClintock Hall so she's going to give Alex and I a tour on Thursday since I have yet to see a dorm. Thursday is going to be a breeze for me--my photojournalism class is taking a field trip to the zoo to take pictures and I somehow convinced my mom to come with me since my class is lame and I wanted a buddy to hang with. So she's coming. And then she decided we had too much to do this week, so lets take the day off and get all this other crap done, so Alex and I are going to ASU on Thursday as well. Anyways, I'll much to report later in the week so ta-ta for now! Carrie

This does not go with her thesis at all!" I was like omg horror flash back of you and I trying to edit that one paper last year! Just thought i would share my pain. Talk to you later!
