A Superior Weekend

Sat. and Sun my dad and I worked on my bathroom- a lot of cutting tile and a lot of walking up and down stairs. I liked the tile bit though; I kept the scraps for later, don't know what I'll do with them, but Im sure I'll think of something. The stargazing was a lot of fun. It took us a while to find a place to go, and finally conked out in the middle of a baseball field at his old elementary school. We talked for a long time and I found out some pretty deep stuff about him. Anyway, about 11ish we couldn't get him to stop shivering, so we left and went bowling (random). That was a blast though. Went to his house for an hour and finally came home about 1. And no, for the curious and nosey, nothing happened. last night I went to the drumline competition; Jo-football had to work, so I brought Zack instead. Drumline did a good job (we were late so we had to watch through the door window, which sucked). Anyway, they recieved an Excellent. (Rating goes: Fair, Good, Excellent, Superior). While we were there my phone rang and it was my mom, telling me that some friends of mine had dropped it; it turned out to be Clayton, Taylor, and Steven! Steven and I dated in 7th grade and I hadn't seen him in about 3 years. So I raced home and all of us (Zack hung around) just chilled on my padio and laughed for hours. It was really crazy and a lot of fun. Steven hasn't changed much, except that he grew about 2 feet and his voice dropped a wee bit. (he used to have a really girlish voice. it's still kinda up there). lol Mom couldn't get over how awesome Clayton looks. I've known the kid since I was 2 and we go months without talking, then have one big chill session, and the cycle repeats its self. He just got out of relationship so now mom's bouncing her brows at me. Yeah...right...Anyhow... They left about midnight and after I dropped Zack home and all it was 1 o'clock. Ten minutes later my phone rang with Jo-Football on the line. We had the same conversation we always do "Why are you mean to me? What did I ever do to you?" "I have no reason to be nice to you. Your reputation proceeds you as an asshole." "What? What did you hear?" "Wouldn't you know?" "Well do you believe everything you hear?" yada yada yada. I told him sto stop calling me so late and that we'd talk later and hung up. Eventually I'll have this figured out. Anyhow, it was a pretty kick-ass weekend. I'm exhausted from all this work though. We still have another week or so on the bathroom (time is limited to when we can work on it) but we made a lot of progress today. Softball ends this week (finally) and then i get to go job-hunting...yipee... Carrie
