Feeling: complacent
Gerrr. Ben you will die for that. hahaha. Yesterday I had the Math B Regents and it was death. I for one actually think I did semi-OK on it... But the rest of the world is confident that they failed. :x I don't get why they had to be so mean though. Stupid Regents. The most pointless test in the history of the world... Then I went home and put some more songs on Honeydo and then got yelled at by my dad for making my sister late for her graduation picnic. It wasn't even completely my fault, they'd only been home for like 15 minutes and nobody told me we were trying to leave, and I can't unplug the thing in the middle, and he totally ruined my mood. *sigh* He has a knack for that. The picnic was OK, too many little kids running around with lots of energy and nobody to talk to except my mom and Kevin and Debbie. I hate being a grownup. haha. And Mrs. Liverio. hahahahahahahahaha. It wasn't horrible. But I'd rather have been doing something else. I really WANT to be there for Maria... but I can't stand her friends. lol. Her parties all put me in a bad mood, except if they're contained within one of mine. hehe. I slept off most of the afternoon in the hammock, reading my Exchange Student Survival Kit and listening to really good music lol, and being warmed by the sun. Then I went to Ben's, which I'd been looking forward to alllll dayyyyy. My mom and Ben's mom had a long conversation about Great Escape so me n Ben n Alice went outside and played Manly Grunt Badminton until Ben stopped us so his sisters and mother wouldn't be freaked out. haha. Then we took some really really cute pictures and were just about to get in the pool when Steve showed up, an hour late. We pretty much killed him. And Ben without his surf shirt. Haha. That kid is soo funny. After like... not such a long time, the water was gorgey but you know how parents are, they don't wanna come and pick you up at all hours, so we had to start the movie. We made smoothies out of my fruit salad and a mango that I had to teach Ben how to cut haha, and Alice's yogurt. It was quite good... Pina colada mix really does add to it though. But anyways, Ben's mom was making cupcakes and she sat in for a little over half the movie, and Ben was like flipping out cuz his sisters kept walking in haha... We were like "Ben relax." But anyways. Alice's chocolate covered strawberries (!) were DIVINNNE... We had to get Steve, who doesn't like strawberries because of a bad experience haha, to hide them from us so we'd stop eating. So anyways. We watched The Ring. And those of you that know me know how I feel about scary movies, but Ben wheeled and dealed until I dissented, and he is going down. hahaha. Not really. Alice screamed a couple of times, and I burrowed so far into the corner of the couch my skin was like burning up halfway through the movie. Haha. I also got tears all over Ben's pillow :x cuz it was really really sad and everybody was fussing over me for crying haha. Just cuz I was crying cuz it was sad doesn't mean it wasn't scary though. And I hate those movies that don't end with hope. My mom agrees. haha. I also felt bad cuz we left Ben all alone after that movie with a huge mess all over the table :x haha. Whoops. The stars were absolutely beautiful. We shoulda gone stargazing. lol My mom was pretty awake and good-natured for 11pm, so she drove Alice home happily and then went out to pick up my dad's stuff from his office, and then she came home and we watched Like Water for Chocolate which is in Spanish and very soap opera-y... It was ok, not exactly the kind of movie I was hoping for haha. Steamy and pretty funny though, kinda like my incoherent stories that I write that have irrational cause and effect haha, like how food got this one girl preggy and stuff. My dad said most Latin American movies are all overreactive and stuff. And I actually understood a lot of the Spanish. haha Wednesday night Kat called me at like 8 to see if I wanted to study for the Math B... I dunno if it helped any, but hey. A little. We worked for about an hour and a half and then ripped my regents book apart in a lovely ceremony and burned all the pages. It was brilliant. And me n Kat danced around it singing war chants and stuff and Dycky stood there unimpressed. haha. No fun. Then we dropped Dycky off and hung out the sunroof down that hill outside his house, it was really exhilarating and cool. Then I went home. haha.
