Weathered Chapter 9.

Feeling: decaffeinated

The rain flooded down the window and made it impossible to look outside. His brain pounded against the walls of his skull and he ran his hand over his face. Warm liquid covered his hand and he opened his eyes. Red liquid covered his hand and he sighed. Now he remembered why his head hurt and he looked for something to cover the head wound.

When he found a tissue he put it to his wound. Then he looked at the window and watched the rain fall. He couldn't remember how long he had been lying here, but he knew he couldn't move.

'God, why now? I was so close...'

The water on her body felt good and she relaxed. The dance from the previous night was beyond reality. She knew Telk had put something in her water, but what it was was above her. She sighed and closed her eyes as the shower became cold. Then she saw him watching her with his dark brown eyes and she sighed.

The sound of footsteps made her step out of the shower. She held her robe around her and walked to her room. When she sat down on her bed, her phone rang.

"Bout time you woke up, Amy."

She couldn't help but roll her eyes and said, "Nice to hear from you too, Mags."

Mags laughed and asked, "How was the party? Did he get you this time?"

She sighed and said, "Unfortunately. Drugged my drink."

Mag cursed and asked, "Does Terry know about it?"

Amy smirked and asked, "Does it matter that he doesn't?"

"Well, aren't you like falling for him?"

"I try to think not, but you're right."

"Then you better let him know. Though, it might be hard to do."

Her eyes narrowed and she asked, "What do you mean? What happened?"

"I went to see him yesterday and found him knocked out in his room. He's at the hospital as we speak. Doc said that it was critical too."
