[You thought your problems were gone]

Feeling: heartbroken
--hi -- Its 12:37am and I just went out to get the paper :) I went to the sports section because yeahh the Amsterdam Rugged Rams played South Glens Falls at my highschool because the Rams field has fake grass on it and it isnt ready yet blah* I hate that fake grass!! and I dont even play football haha :P --anyway --Amsterdam beat South High 33-6 how cool is that? :) yeahh --in the paper it said.. --NO LETDOWN FOR RAMS Amsterdam improves a 2-0 with win over South Glens Falls Broadalbin-- Piling up 420 total yards, Amsterdam made it two in a row kicking off South Glens Falls 33-6 in a Class A football game at Broadalbin-Perth High School Friday afternoon. The game was played at Bp because Amsterdam's field is not playable because of renovation. Amsterdam gained 134 yards passing and 286 yards through the air. On its second possession South Glens Falls started from its 20. Quarterback Eric Acker gained 5 yards and the Rugged Rams were called with pass interference and South Glens Falls had first and 10 from the 40. The South Glens Falls kept the ball on the ground for eight plays and went to the one. On this drive Zach Chapman rushed for 38 yards on two carries. The quarter ended and play went to the other side. Acker reached the end zone on a quarterback sneak with 11:57 left in second-quarter play and the Bulldogs led 6-0. If anything that seemed to wake up the Rugged Rams. Dan Sumpter returned the punt 64 yards to the South Glens Falls 13. Joel Lochner picked up six yards Brian Davey carried for another five and then T.J. Czeski scored from two yards away and Dom Serge booted the extra point and Amsterdam led 7-6 with 10:46 showing on the board. After South Glens Falls failed to generate any offense Amsterdam went to work from its 26. Eight plays later Czesk found Sumpter open in the corner of the end zone for a nine yard touchdown pass and a 13-6 advantage. On the scoring drive Casey Martin picked up 26 yards on two rushes Lochner added 21 yards on three attempts and a face mask penalty against South Glens Falls helped the cause. It didnt take long for Amsterdam to strike again. Vinny Vandetta ran back a punt 35 yards to the 45. Davey picked up seven yards and Martin added six to put the ball at 42. Then Czeski scrambled twicefor 21 yards and the Rugged Rams were moving at the 21. Davey got the call and scored with 10:01 left. Kyle Marshall caught a two-point conversion pass and Amsterdam went on top 21-6. In a surprise play Amsterdam delivered and onsides kick and Vandetta alertly recovered the ball at the South Glens Falls 49. Czeski hit Martin with an eight-yard pass and Czeski rushed three yards and the ball rested at the 38. The Rugged Rams continued to keep the ball on the ground. Czeski ran for 15 yards Martin had 13 more and finally Davey used a couple of moves to score from 10 yards out with 7:21 left and Amsterdam had a 27-6 lead. Putting together a 10-8 play 78-yard drive Amsterdam tacked on its final score when Czeski hit Martin on a 15-yard screen pass. The Rugged Rams mixed the pass and run very effectively and celebrated thier second win in as many starts. Even though the Bulldogs suffered thier second straight loss first-year coach Alex Vasak was pleased with thier performance. " We're pleased with our outcome. We had a great first half. We played a little smash-mouth Giants football. They held thier heads up high even in the second half when things were a little tough for them. Special teams one play onsides kick there goes the momentum. The air comes out of the balloon a little bit" he said. Martin paced the Rugged Rams running game with 68 yards on eight carries. Czeski had 67 yards on seven rushes and Davey contributed 45 yards on four carries. Czeski was 9-for-13 and 134 yards. "We got to play Gloversville next week. It doesnt get any easier. I thought 4 oclock we catch them ((Amsterdam)) off guard a little bit I think we did. Its going to take a while to turn the ship around" said Vasak. Amsterdam coach Pat Liviero had thoughts about a letdown after its Big Emotional Win Against Troy a week ago. "I told a few people we may wind up halftime 7-7 and it just about was that. We didnt play our best. We have to work on the team that came out against Troy come out every week. I think the offense played well all game but the first half we never had the ball." said Liviero. Liviero said the Rugged Rams will get to work on sunday to prepare for Averill Park "I thought we moved the ball offensively. Defensively nothing. I watched us play Troy the couldnt run the ball on us. As far as defesively goes the second half was much better alot of three and outs. I just think they came out and thought it was gonna be easy they werent going to have to work that hard." he said. --well there yahh go :) yay im so proud they won!! ..but Peter didnt make a contribution :( ..aww maybe someday ill see his name in the paper :) ahh I hope so :P lol --I went to see my gramma today in Sunnyview its a rehab hospital ..she is doing so much better than she was doing in Ellis Hospital ..she is staying awake..and she is more focused.. she is doing great! :) she has about 10 days in Sunnyview she can walk on her leg..but it hurts when they bend it because she got her knee replaced..so..yeahh --erm..you wouldnt believe the amount of books I have to carry ..thats all im gonna say..because when I talk about it I get angry because it isnt fair gah* lol --I think thats it.. -I x3 you..
