Praise the Lord! I am so thankful for the way the elections turned out. Not only do we have a wonderful God-fearing moral President, but gay marriages have been banned, there are no Nebraska casinos, no smoking in restaurants here in Links, and there is a Republican runned Senate and House! I hope abortions are made illegal soon. I think it is utter tourture and murder to a baby. It was like Christmas time...everything turned out the way I wanted it to. It's great to be an American. Absentee ballots are the way to go y'all. With the turn outs and all...some people waited in line for 2 1/2 hours (Stace), over an hour (TP) and in Omaha...some waited for upwards to 4 hours! School is aight. I'm doing well in all my classes...could be better. It's looking like B's right now...hopefully some of those can bump up to A's. HUSKER FOOTBALL: Robin...watch out...our SKERS are gonna tear y'all up on Sat. I wish I could go...shucks...ah well, I hope you have a great time seeing everyone. Tomorrow night I'm working at Coldstone...this past week I had the highest percentage of love it/gotta have it sales. If I keep it up, hopefully I can win something at the end of the month. I want my neighbor across the courtyard to take down his stupid Kerry Edwards sign! THEY LOST!!!!

god fearing! lol oxymoron nuff said
I'm not sure if you realize this, but not everyone in America is a Christian, and not everyone has the same religious/moral beliefs. To base law on any combination of those two is unfair. What harm is it to you if two people who are in love, but happen to be the same gender, get married? Sometimes abortions are necessary. Making them illegal would be a bad idea. I respect your opinion, but I just wanted to explain the other side.
Did you know that 36 states have a proposal to ban abortion? I just thought that was an interesting number. We had the smoking ban here in Ames a couple years ago but they took it to the State supreme court and the restaurants won because they said it was making them lose business. I wanted to be like "you'll lose business when they die of smoke inhalation" but alas, no one listened to me. I really hope that the Huskers win this weekend!!
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. As a ministry, Campus Crusade up in herre in Ames fasted and prayed the day before and the day of the elections and guess what??? Iowa went Republican, the first time since 1988. Wa-pah, Grandma!!

PS -- you know you're hungry when you're fasting and having a conversation with someone and all you can see running through your head are images of sandwiches. :)
How is god-fearing an oxymoron? Whatev.
