::My Week::

Well, I am back home on my dad's computer again. It has been a week since I last wrote in this journal. Part of the reason I wasn't really able to write was that I didn't have the internet set up in my room and so I mostly just checked my email at Love Library or the CBA building. I've been e-mailing back and forth with Cody (NY road trip friend, bro of Disney co-worker)practically all week. He's a frosh at Purdue...we just chat back and forth about what's going on at college and stuff. Funny kid. I was happy when he said that my senior pic was up on his loft. He has a gf, so of course we are just friends..but he's a cutie. Classes went well, and all together this week just went fast. I like it so far..it's going good. I'm suprised that the dorm living wasn't that hard to adjust back too, after living in an appartment all year. Smith 602 is lookin' good...we can do some more to it, but for the time being it's a great little room. Stop by and leave a message on our board and don't forget to check out the Ephesians verse on the door! Oh man...I ate so much ice cream this week. I went to Dairy Queen with Stace and her sis and dad on Sunday. I had Coldstone on both Monday and on Thursday. On Wednesday I had Dairy Queen in Papio after Bible Study, and tonight I had a little bit of chocolate chip mint (Northeastern was of saying it!) after dinner. About Coldstone on Thursday...A new store opened up in downtown Links and a bunch of us went down there because Stacey invited us! The store is bigger and cuter than the one at Southpointe. We got free ice cream and boy was it good! Grant got this huge amount...like a pint or something! Then we went to the Heitman's for Bible Study and ate even more food...I was full, but later on that night Kelsi and I went to the Rec to workout. But about all the ice cream...ya know, it IS the end of the summer...ice cream season...type thing. The big ol' RED plays tomorrow...gosh..I hope we win. I think we will. We've got some great players and new coaches and I think they've been working real hard these past months for this season. I met Willie Amos this week and talked to some other players and even a coach! Eating at the Hewitt Center is pretty cool. Not only is it great healthy food, but you get to be around the athletes and kinda just work your way into the cafeteria and eat the food they eat! I am getting baptized on Sunday and joining First Baptist Church of Papillion. I have come along way in my faith since last October or November. I have read practically the whole New Testament and I truly believe that God saved me! The good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ fell afresh on me and I came to the realization of God's grace, love and His word! My allergies are getting to me, so I'm gonna go read and go to bed. g'nite!

Hey Care!
Guess what? I came home for the weekend to visit my family and what not (woo hoo for 3 day weekends!!). Anyways, I went to the Husker game with my mom. My sister was supposed to go but she was in a car accident on the way up here. She wasn't hurt or anything but couldn't drive up. So I got to go, it was a good game!!! I'm also going ot the Iowa State/Nebraska game on October 25.
