::It's 3 a.m....maybe 1 a.m.?::

Long day, what a long day. Well, to start off, I woke up at 5:15 a.m. California time and drove with my family down Interstate 5 to L.A. in order to catch a flight back to Omaha..well I got home at 10:15 p.m. Omaha time. The vacation was good. Fun, long, boring at times, awesome at times, cool, yeah, you get the point. I was around my family for 9 days 24/7, so as you can tell, I am ready to see my friends. And the fact that I didn't have much of a Christian influence or bond between anyone of them made the days stretch. Oh and the fact that we were always busy eating, shoppping, visiting, sightseeing, driving, blaha....I didn't get to spend as much time in the Word as I would have liked to. Yeah, saw some vineyards..hehe, we even drove through the garlic capital of the world! Woo wee, did that place smell. California is really a beautiful state. Minus the smog and dirtiness of Los Angeles, it really has an edge over many states when it comes to scenery, things to do, places to go type thing. Sometimes I wonder why it is that I live in such a boring blahblah state like Nebraska. But don't get me wrong, I love my friends and family here! But yeah, Cali is gorgious. We drove up Interstate 1 on Sunday to San Jose (where my cousins live), and we were right by the ocean. We got out to see these huge sea lions laying on the beach. Those crazy sea lions. Disney was fun. When I got there, and I didn't exactly want to be there. I had too much Mickey this year...living in Disney World for 5 months qualifies for enough, period. But Disneyland was a lot different than Magic Kingdom at WDW. I rode rides I never rid before (did that make sense)? It was like I was a kid again, experiencing the "Disney Magic" for the first time..kinda. California Adventure was a blast-n-a half too. My bro and I rode the big rollercoaster there twice..yeah..and they have this awesome simulation ride called "Soarin' over California." In it, you are hoisted up in this big hang glider thing in this big hug room with this big huge big screen and you basically travel through all parts of the state of California...its really awesome. For those of you who thought I was going to see good ol' Bobby Barker on the Price Is Right, I'm informing you that the show was sold out, and we weren't able to get on. Sad I know. But we went to HOLLYWOOD instead. This struggling actor from Nebraska named John came up to me and asked me if I was from Nebraska (I was wearing my white NE hoodie) and of course I said yeah..he shot 4 episodes of the Practice this past season. Then we went down to Hollywood & Highland, and saw a live taping of Good Day LA..I saw Lisa Kudrow from Friends and Trista from the Bachelor/ette. It was kinda cool seeing real stars live. That's Hollywood for you.
