I sleep too much. Yesterday I slept for 2 hours in the afternoon and today I slept in till 11:00 a.m. I don't like sleeping in that late. I feel like I've wasted half the day! It's alright though, because tonight I have to work from 5 till after midnight, and I have to wake up early tomorrow to babysit. Last night my mom had a jewelry party. It was fun. There was good food, and we all looked at jewelry and did skits and shared fashion facts. My mom ordered me this cute ring that is small and has a little heart on it. I saw Jessie's engagement ring (Jessie is my mom's friend's daughter) we grew up together..she's 22 I think. It's a beautiful engagement ring. Yea Jessie! I'm listening to my Living Proof c.d. that I got like 4 or so years ago at Logos Camp in Colorado. It brings back a lot of memories of all the good times I had there. The horse back riding. The dances. The hikes. The scenery. The friends I've made, the friendships that grew. And most importantly that times I've grown in my walk as a Christian. However, now that i look back at it, I was oblivious to many things that the Bible says and I wasn't at all interested in reading the Word of God. This has changed since last semester and since attending First Baptist. The Bible is so important to read as a Christian. It is the Word of God! I know that there were days in Florida where I would be beat and tired from working a 9 hour shift, and coming back to the appartment to read a couple chapters or so in the n.t. made my day close on a great note, knowing that I was spending time with our Savior and Redeemer. I don't find it as boring now, and I understand it more and more each day. I can remember way back when at Faith Church when I would just read some Proverbs here and there, because I thought they were interesting or whatever...I still do read them, but I seem to understand them more now. I guess this is just an act of God opening my eyes to the meanings of His Word. ___________________________________________ I got home from work early tonight...I didn't have to stay till close, so that's good. Tonight was a great night for hopping. I made $57.69 in just 6 hours of tipping. Plus I get $5.15 an hour so when you divide it out and add it up..I was making around $14.00 bucks an hour. I have no real desire to spend the money surprisingly. I need to replenish my savings account, as it is low. Plus, I'm going to Chi-town fa sho, and maybe NY (still don't know! eek..) I gotta go to bed though, because Adam and I are going to SPINNING tomorrow morning at the Y! It's gonna be one hard workout that's for sure. 45 min straight bike riding.
