::South Beach::

First off, this entry is kinda like my diet entry..so you might get bored. Oh wait, you probably get bored at all my other entries too. So read on if ya ant ta. So I decided to try the South Beach diet. I started Monday and from that day until July 20th (2 weeks)...I can't have any fruit or grains, and I have to stay away from sugar and all those other bad carbs. I can have meat (not all kinds) and veggies..also peanuts, peanut butter, and sugar free stuff. oh yeah..gum and hard candies..but I have to limit myself. It's been going good...my body is getting used to not eating all carbs...I swear I am such a carboholic. But yeah..I bought the book today at B & N..it has recipes and stuff. I kinda cheated today at work though..but it's ok..I can manage (it's not like I'm overweight)..I had a few ched r' bites..a couple fries..and one piece of popcorn chicken. I am feeling sick though..like my throat is getting all scratchy..probably because I don't get any calcium (oh yeah..i have to stay away from dairy) and I'm not getting enough Vitamin C. Yeeps..well, I'll manage..I want to be able to fit into my clothes that don't fit well (I gained 15 pounds since last summer thanks to college "Frosh 15" and Disney). After Phase 1, I can re-introduce some foods including certain fruits and grain..and even 1% milk! Wooh hooo! Tonight at work I actually put on the rollerblades for a bit. I skated around the parking lot and took some orders out on them. I actually got a few tips too. I ended up with $30.56 for the night...which isn't too bad considering we were slow and I helped inside making drinks and taking orders. I work Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday from 2-8. Dang Gina..that's a lot of woik. Plus tomorrow and Thursday I watch the boys. Take care everyone..God Bless Ya!
