::Stereo::

So I just wrote about MTV and it's corruptiveness, but I decided not to rant and rage about that junk. Instead, I meant to write about the new stereo that will be arriving in this dorm room in a few days. I guess it's gonna be pretty osome. All I can say is that, anything that doesn't make the sound all scratchy and whatnot will be acceptible. So long old Phillips Magnavox..hello "wicked awesome" stereo (Stace's thought). I guess A & M tickets are going for a lot of money. That kind of makes me mad that people pay so much to see college athletes play football. I'm fine with like 20, 30, 40 bones, but when it comes to like over a hundred bucks..that's kinda too much. I got a C on my Geography exam. I was bummed, because i studied pretty hard for it. However, I didn't start studying until 3 days before the test, so that could be one reason why I didn't do all that good. But at least I know what to expect next time, and I'll just study more I suppose. Tonight is Bible Study with the Heitman's. I'm looking forward to it. I enjoy the study that we are doing right now in Romans. I usually get something out of the study, which is always good. The other night with CRU Bible Study, it seems like we just barely touch on things and don't go that in depth. Lee definitely goes more in depth at this Bible Study. I'm going to Iowa this weekend with the fam. We are heading over to Dubuque for my grandpa's induction into some hall of fame for athletics and/or academics. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I think it will be nice. I will get to see some family that I hardly see, and I get to go shopping for some winter clothes too. I haven't purchased any winter clothes in for-ev-er, because I wasn't really here last winter. Instead, I was soakin' up the sun in sunny Flada. Have a good day y'all. God Bless.

Did you know that to keep season tickets for NE football games, you now have to give like a $500 "donation" plus pay for the tickets. So think about that when you talk about ticket prices. And that's just for my grandma's seats up in the boondocks. Pretty sad, isn't it? Here at ISU, they sell tickets for $10 (students). I think the most they go for is like $40 for the Oklahoma game this Sat. Have fun in DBQ this weekend!!!
