::My Night & Days:

I just got home from being over at Lou and Mel's. I always have a great time whenever I go over there. I had to explain to Lou about the whole 28 year old Indiana guy liking me situation. His name is Josh, and he is friends with Cody and Abby..but heck, the guy is like 10 years older than me, and I didn't find him attractive..just nice! Mel got me a nice cross necklace from New Mexico. It is turqouise...I guess Stacey and Kelsi have one too. Mel is so thoughtful. Stacey mentioned something to me about some people wondering about my getting baptized and joining the church. I really would like too, but I still don't feel ready. I haven't even read the whole baptism book yet, and I haven't come to grips about leaving Faith Church. That is probably the hardest thing...leaving Faith Church. But I think God has lead me to this church for a reason. I have learned so much, grown in my walk, made great friends in Christ..and more. All signs point to First Baptist...not sure what I'm waiting for. Tomorrow is one of my best friends 20th birthday (Jen). I can't believe she's known me for 20 years! I've known her for 19. Well, actually...maybe not that long considering we can't "remember" stuff when we are like a half of a year old..but our parents were best friends in high school..so let's just say our friendships go way back. She moved to Texas in high school and went to Texas A&M for two years..but now is back up here for a year or so to live with her dad, work, and go to UNO. I'm glad she is up here because she gets to be around her family and not be so controlled by her mom and step dad down in Texas. Going to Lincoln on Friday to turn in my Disney journal (hopefully). Gotta take a math placement exam too. I get to see the Newsboys in concert this weekend! I'm stoked. They are a great Christian band.

I'm super sad that you are leaving Faith. Now the Faith girls will just be me, Beth, and Cinders, very sad. :( But I understand your reasons, I guess. Although I don't think you need to be re-baptized, even if you were "unsure" of your faith when you were first baptized. The fact was that you trusted God and believed in Him enough to be baptized, even if you weren't necessarily strong in your faith at the time.
