I woke up and took Adam to his piano competition at UNO. He did great! He got a trouphy and a certificate! Good Job Adam! Then we drove to the bank and on our way back to UNO to figure out how he did, my dumb car got all hot and steamy...haha...so we pulled it into the lot and I called my grandparents. They were kinda near UNO, so they came and checked out my honda with two of their friends. This ol' man named Jack found what was wrong..and he filled it up with water. Hopefully it'll be all good, and I won't have to pay a ton to get it fixed. But it's kinda funny, because this morning when my dad called to wish me a happy birthday I told him that I wanted a new car! Adam and I were starving so we went to Applebee's for lunch. Yum, I had the honey bbq boneless wings AGAIN! They are seriously the best thing I've ever had at Applebee's before. Our server actually graduated with us and goes to Lincoln. His name is David..he played fb too. I thought I recognized him, but I thought he was a year older. Aww..the Applebee's crew sang to me, and I got some ice cream. Adam got the Hershey's chocolate cake, and gave me a little too. I'm seriously so stuffed right now. Tonight, my family and I are supposed to go out for dinner to Outback steakhouse. I don't know if I'll be hungry by then?! I'm glad that I was able to spend some of the day with Adam, because he has been such a good friend/boy to sit throughout these past 4 years or so. His family is great..I love them all! Him and I are like brother and sister. I think I'm his long lost sister, because he has to deal with so much crap from his brothers sometimes..so it's good that I can join in on all of it. _________________________________________ I went to Outback Steakhouse tonight with my family..grandpa, grandma, and Jen. The food was pretty good. I still liked the honey bbq wings I had for lunch better though. I'm thankful that a lot of people recognized that it was my birthday and wished me one by phone or email. Thanks all y'all!!! I bought a new pair of jeans today from the Buckle. Yeah, I kinda splurged..they were $68! Silver brand...37" inseem! Oh my gosh y'all..they are soooo long! THE longest jeans I have ever owned! That is $68 less that I have to spend on my trip...I am leaving in 2 days!
