::Ova::

"You're five minutes of fame are ova!" "It's not ova, it's over!" ::Caroline and random little girl from the crowd outside studio 1A in Rockafeller Plaza this past summer:: I meant for that to be a lead in to the fact that this semester has come to a close. No more Accounting, Micro, Stats, Health, or History of Christianity. No more Hewit lunches with friends or self for that matter. No more Smith 614, or dorms for that matter. There is a lot to look forward to, both this summer and next fall. Can you believe it has been almost a good two years since we graduated from Papillion-La Vista High School? Wow, time really does fly when you are having fun. Summer classes are hopefully going to be manageable and passable. I hope for good teachers who don't lecture horribly fast, and maybe a nice classmate that I can study with or something, so that I'm not completely lost on the subject matter. Kyle is growing up. The young son grows a qwarta inch a day! No really though, he is growing up. I think he told me he is 5'4". I'm guessing that within the next year the boy will be almost as tall as me. We'll see. It's pretty much in God's hands. He's the one that allows us to live and move and have our being! Kyle is already practicing at...PLHS...for drum-line. Man, that boy might be rockin' to the beats of the quads next fall at good ol' Papio football games! See what I mean by time flying by? The kid is going to be in my high school next fall. I'm going to miss the girls from our floor. The Lord was so gracious to allow us girls to meet other strong Christian girls who have a heart for the Lord. I really hope that next fall we can continue to meet up and possibly have a Bible Study in our new apartment! I'm looking forward to having "dinner parties" and possibly having friends over to watch a particular show or something. Well in T-minus 12 hours I will be hitting the road with my friend Erica from Disney and her sis and another one of Erica's friends to go to FLORIDA! I'm stoked. It will be a good break from school, Nebraska, people...yeah it will just be nice to see some old co-workers maybe, go to the parks, the beach, shop, hangout, stuff like that. It will also be nice, because pretty much the rest of the summer will consist of school and work. Yeah, I'm in the process of finding jobs. I need to start applying ASAP. That will have to happen when I get back from FL. Grant graduates tomorrow. Mixed emotions...I'm not sure how to take things still. Akward times still pop up occasionly, but it has been getting a ton better. Stace, you were totally right about the whole April Fools Joke "breaking the ice." Props to you Gina. I will most definitely without a doubt miss their (Justin too) presence down in Lincoln. They have been amazing friends and words sometimes can't really describe it. It's just great to know that God works all things to His good and perfect will and that each and every day we are supposed to by His grace and through His Son follow after Him and deny ourselves. Grant and Justin are amazing men of God, and I thank God for placing them in my lives respectively. My room is a pit. There are boxes and suitcases scattered about the floor, and I still need to pack for the big road trip. I hope you all take care, and enjoy the beginning of our summer break 2004! Dang years! : )
