wow, so here's a perfect example of the closure issues that i have... so i went to NC for this Memorial Day weekend. me, bunch of adults talking with my parents, my cousins roxanne and ezra (17 & 18), a bunch of little kids running around, and me. it wasnt exactly the best experience... roxanne and ezra were from Miami, and Ezra had these shades that he never took off lolz and Roxanne was always wearing black and stuff... hehe i just want to mention how much i love my sexy toyota Rav 4 SUV and the GPS system my dad bought for it... lolz we totally didn't get lost! wOOt so we first went to a park by Harris Lake. we had reserved one of those "rooms" with a wooden ceiling and picnic benches. i was extremely bored, because roxanne and ezra, the closest to my age, weren't exactly welcoming... it was the whole brother-sister-stick-together thing, so i was pretty much an outsider and all that. but then i saw a volleyball and i was like, "ooh i can actually play that cuz i'd been doing it in HS PE, so i was like, "can i play?" they were all, "sure" so we went into the volleyball sand court, which, of course, was directly in the sun with no shade or wind *burning hott!*... but it was me and an uncle VS. Roxanne and Ezra... and i totally kicked ass! lolz... and then we got tired so we went back to our picnic benches to eat barbecue. i wanted to play some more (cuz i want to get some upper muscles and get fit and stuff lolz), but we needed to digest hehe... so ezra got out his cards, and me him and his sis played some games... but then she got all bored, so me and him played for awhile... it was pretty cool, and i found it quite funny that i didnt have to look him in the eye cuz he was always wearing shades... so he started making up this game "pyramid," and he made up rules as it went along trying to make it better and everything... but it didn't work out at all hehe... we had some good laughs. then afterwards, they weren't really doing anything, and i really wanted to get up and do something energetic, so i asked my dad to play volleyball with me in the shade (just bumping it back and forth n stuff)... i found it hilarious how bad he was, and how everyone was complaining about how heavy and hard the volleyball was, but see, i was used to it, hehe, though my forearms started bruising... and then a bunch of the uncles started playing, so it was me, this 14-yr-old girl VS. a bunch of grown men hehe and i was totally holding my own... and then ezra came over to play too, and i would like to think that he was impressed by how i seemed pretty athletic... honestly, i think it's fun to intimidate a guy's strength (another underlying reason for my wanting *sexy sleek* muscles). and then the "grown men" started dropping out, and soon it was just me VS. ezra, and i pretty much took it as an endurance contest... and then he changed it to four/two-square, which i flipping enjoyed SO MUCH cuz it was just like CTY! we used the shadows to makr boxes on the pathway lolz... and i totally beat his ass... wOOt... i think that this is where i kinda gained his respect as an athletic girl lolz... i was so happy when i was like, "okay, i've gotta get some water!" i was like, "wOOt! i totally won!" in my head... yeah, it was awesome... and then we went back to cards for awhile... and we pretty much sat around bored until we decided to take this huge Spongebob kickball to the volleyball court and try to play with it... which was a disaster, cuz no of us could actually hit it over enough to have a decent game lolz... it was too heavy. i was like throwing it over, and he was kicking and stuff... both he and roxanne seemed like they were good at soccer. when we finally gave up trying to play with that heavy weight of a ball, we sat on a bench for awhile, making fun of this girl across the field who was trying so badly to hit a ball that her friends kept tossing to her... wow it was really funny! so then we were really bored for the rest of the time... i can't remember anything else that happened after that, except we got back in our cars... i wanted to say, "see you tom," but they kinda just went in their cars without saying anything lolz... yeah it WAS awkward most of the time, especially when we weren't doing anything (we had to be playing something to get along kinda). but me and roxanne actually had something in common, because we were both talking about how there's like no one walking on the streets in NC, and how there seemed to be no malls! wth! lolz so then i went back to the aunt's house that my family was staying at, and i was looking at my uncle's DVD collection... he had really good taste! he had Constantine, Kill Bills, Atlantis, El Dorado, and a bunch of other movies that i'd always wanted to see. after asking his permission, i wanted to watch el dorado, but there was no disk in it :[ so i popped Atlantis into my laptop instead! it was a really good movie! lolz then my mom came up, and we kinda just went to bed... i was just super happy that i got a complete workout from my day at the park, and that i can actually be pretty good at some sports!
