[*76*] "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words."

Listening to: Sparks by Coldplay.
Feeling: loved
My best friends made my birthday. There was nothing special about the events that happened on September 8th, nor really on September 9th. But actually, it is quite hard to deny that our accidental walking of 6 blocks in the wrong direction to the Times Square movie Theater was NOT God's plan, when it turned out that there was still an 11:30 showing of 9, instead of the 10:30 we had planned to make. And the train music comedian who called me Imelda Marcos. LMAO. Fucking. Hilarious. But those were just God's warm-ups. He sent me the best gifts I have ever received on a birthday. Ever. I love my friends. Without them, I would not live. And no, I'm not exaggerating. I will copy and paste the email I sent to Phil, because I should go to sleep now. It is 1:30 AM, and I have school in the morning! DX. - - - - - - - - - - I'm also probably PMSing, which would explain all the excess crying -_-. The first two are Ivy's, the last two are Moleca's. At the bottom of Ivy's letter, she wrote "Happy birthday sister -hug- ♥." Well, I started crying because I saw on Facebook freaking five days ago, and she put as her status: "It's at times like these that I miss my sister." I figured it was someone from back home in Nicaragua, so I just commented saying " :[ -hug- ♥" And she commented back with ";__; -hug- ♥" And yeah, so today, I found out that she meant me. And that means so much. And then Moleca's painting is an imitation of a painting by Kurt Halsey, who has the best quotes and depictions (DAMN IT, I CAN'T FIND THE LINK, BUT HER IMITATION IS AMAZINGLY ACCURATE.) She did this painting back in freaking APRIL. I remember telling her how amazing it was, and how much I related to it, and I wished I could have ordered the poster or something. She said she was going to keep it for herself, just this once, because she also related a lot to it.... and then she gave to me today. slkdjfalksdjfadf. Means so much. Oh, and Moleca also gave me a cute purse she found, but in each of the pockets, she put a post-it with a quote. And I really relate with the top left, and the bottom right, and I don't think that it's by accident that the top-left is the only pink post-it. The bottom right is from Winnie the Pooh (so Google told me) and made me cry because it was the first one I found (again, not a coincidence because it was placed easy to find at the very bottom of the purse), and the pink is from a Persian Poet Hafiz, apparently. ♥ And she also got me the cutest pencil case! XD. So yeah. I had to tell someone else because my parents aren't seeing ONE INCH of this shit. It's all mine. D:< And lol. Moleca works the fact that I analyze everything to her advantage. xD. This has been one epic birthday.

[Edit: (September 20, 2009) I FOUND ANOTHER POST-IT IN THE OUTSIDE POCKET OF THE PURSE. It says, "Ever since happiness heard your name, it has been running through the streets trying to find you." It is by that same poet, Hafiz. <3
