[28.] And you're gone.

They stopped. “Where are we?” She asked. “I donno.” He said. “I needed to stop for a while.” Responded Shawn. “Oh.” Jamie sighed, stopping with him. “Jamie” He turned to her “Jamie…” He said in a little sing-song voice. “Come here, cutie.” He tapped his lap. Jamie giggled, and awkwardly sat in his lap, facing him. Shawn stared at her smiling face, and studied her skin. On her cheek, there were small speckles of dark brown. Her hair was parted to the right side, like always. Her eyes were sparkling like crystals. “You’re such a cutie,” Jamie said sweetly, pinching his cheek like a little boy. “Hahahah…” Shawn began. He moved the hair out of her eyes. “You’re such an angel.” He said. Her mouth opened in awe, her eyebrows rising at the compliment. “…Man, that was so cheesy.” He added laughing. Jamie laughed and slapped his shoulder “It was not.” She laughed. Shawn looked at her doubtfully. “Well maybe a little.” They both giggled. “Oh look,” Shawn said, not surprised. “Someone’s in love with you.” He spoke as he stared at her necklace. The hook of the silver chain found its place near the center of the necklace. It was near the silver heart that she always wore. Shawn grabbed the heart and pulled the hook all the way until it found its correct place at the back of her neck. He sighed, and then leaned back, then looking back at her. She was giggling again. “What are you laughing about, you silly girl?” Shawn joked. She continued laughing harder. “Hey I’ll give you something to laugh about if you don’t tell me.” “Yeah, JUST try it.” Jamie kept laughing at his attempt to figure out where the humor was. Jamie then abruptly stopped. “What?” Shawn immediately said, concerned. “Nothing.” Jamie then began laughing again. “Alright, come here.” Shawn grabbed Jamie by the shoulders and pulled her down sideways, holding her like he held a baby. Jamie waited in anticipation to see what he would do next. Shawn began tickling her ribs outrageously and she screamed with laugher, kicking and waving her arms around. “Alright…Alright!” “Yes…?” Shawn spoke interestedly. “I’ll tell you!” “Well?” “It’s…It’s…” “Yeeees?” Shawn died to know. “I have a wedgie.” Jamie covered her mouth with her dark-red painted fingernails. She widened her eyes sarcastically. “EEEEEWW!” Shawn laughed, knowing she was kidding. He let go of her in pretend disgust and her head fell back onto the armrest. “Ow..” She laughed with her eyes closed, rubbing her head which healed in a matter of six seconds. “I’m sorry. Are you okay, little girl?” Jamie punched him in the chest playfully. “No.” She said defiantly. Shawn leaned in and kissed her head. Then he kissed her bare lips. Very, very softly. He leaned back, looking at her upset face. “Oh my god, what’s wrong?” Jamie’s hands were crossed. “That was mine. Give it back!” Jamie smirked, taking back the kiss. Shawn grabbed her shoulders and squeezed her, pulling her tighter to him. She wrapped one of her arms around his neck, and the other, grabbing his jaw tight to her mouth. Shawn felt Jamie’s leg wrap around the inside of his knee, and a shiver sprinted through his body. He pulled away. “Guess what?” He smiled. “What?” Jamie said, not upset that he ended a very passionate moment. “You’re my first kiss.” He said simply. “You’re my first love.” She smiled.
