[15.] A smile.

"Jamie.. Jamie... come back to me... my Jamie... Jamie... I'd kill to see you again." Shawn's voice fades. The sun is shining brighter than the days before. Shawn hasn't talked to Jamie since she saved him from total embarassment. Saving him from something he deserved. He smiled. He sat alone in his apartment, which looked like a hotel room, listening to sounds nobody pays attention to. Outside, there is a wind that blows by every few minutes, the sun is setting, and there is a party below him. He drifted off to sleep... before waking up he imagined himself as a young boy. The park they always took him to. Shawn saw himself playing in the sandbox, happily. Someone was filming him, it was his mother. His father never went to that park, rapists don't spend time with their children. He remembered how cold the sand felt when he dug deep enough. He'd give anything to go back... before all this. Even Jamie. Maybe start all over.
