[11.] That one time... I lied.

Shawn was on the way to Nathan's house. Today... it would be the first time he saw Jamie besides the internet. He was nervous. Jamie was different than the others. He didn't flirt with her, he didn't have to makeout to coverup awkward silence. His first virginal girl that was a friend since the 4th grade. Nathan was outside, waiting. Again. He was kicking a tiny gnome in the front yard. He kicked it over, and it revealed the housekeys. He immediatly covered it, hoping nobody saw that. Shawn arrived in his large black car. "Hey, Nate." Nathan was setting the gnome back in place. He looked up, "Hello there." They walked inside the house, and of course, hearing Shawn enter, Jamie appeared. "Oh my gosh... this is it. What do I do? Do I say hi? No. Don't. I have to make it like I don't think we're friends, that'll make her want me more. Wait, she doesn't. So how can it be more? Well I can't.." Thoughts ended abruptly by the sound of her voice. "Hey, Shawn." Just like the internet. It's the same. No big deal. But on the internet, she can't see his face, and how it brightned with every word. "Hi." And she smiled, as if she didn't know what she was doing to him.
