Well, I can officially say I am a registered Republican. Stacey would be so proud. My birthday is but 4 days away. A little bit of an update is in store: District Music Contest was a huge success. 1+ were awarded to the few schools who truly deserved them, not saying that everyone didn't try their best. My heart and prayers to out to the school who couldn't be there at that time. (You know who you are). There were many fine choirs there as well. The band was simply amazing. I'm so proud to be a part of a group that has so much talent. I participated in a vocal solo and duet. The solo received a superior rating (1), my vocal duet received an excellent (2). I was also involved in 2 ensembles. The woodwind quintet and clarinet quintet also received superior ratings. So....3 of the 4 events I was in received superior ratings. Not too bad. No one walked home with any 3's from our school. I was quite pleased. Graduation is a matter of a couple of weeks. My life is truly about to begin. Highschool is merely a prep. I thank God for each day I'm alive and to give me the ability to bring glory to his name whenever I can. I hope I'm an influence to those around me to act as Christ did in everything I do. He is the true giver of good things.
