::Fire...::

Today at work there was a fire. Apparently one of the rags in our dryer cought on fire. A girl coming into shift noticed something smelling weird. Ford opened up the door to it and a huge cloud of black smoke came from inside. He inhaled a lot of it and it got in his eyes. Cari was taken to the hospital since she was back in the back room the longest and the most. I was getting a bit worried when I saw Art and Ford stumbling out of the back room coughing and wheezing. Ford's eyes were all red...it was crazy. They used the fire extinguisher and the powder from it got on everything....so everything was thrown away that couldn't be used anymore. Our cups were thrown away, nachos, bags, boxes. So about 3 hours after the event, Ford asked me to go in the back and start making a fresh batch of nachos since all in storage had to be thrown away. I was among the first to go in the room first. So he tells me if I started feeling kinda weird to get out immediately and get some fresh air. I'm about 20 minutes into making nachos and Ford comes back in to tell me to go out front since I had been back there long enough and didn't want me to start breathing in more carbon monoxide. I'm just fine in the back, but once I get out into the air, this wave of nausea and light-headedness hit me. So I ram my shoulder into the wall trying to gain some stability when Ford kinda lowers me gently down to the so I can catch my breath...then helps me to the break room to sit on a chair. I was fine later...with a headache. anyway...that was the interesting part of my day...
