Nothing really to write about. The computers were out for about an hour on Monday, so we had to write all the orders out by hand. No biggy. I'm signed up to try out for All-State band, I have my first choir performance on the 6th, I have a football game in Lincoln on the 5th, I signed up to be a counselor at Outdoor Ed with the 6th graders for the 29th & 30th of Sept. I don't work again until Saturday, but luckily it's a double. I haven't worked much at all this week. My choir teacher wants me to try out for the musical 'Footloose' but auditions are on the 4th and 5th of Sept. Wow, so far this school year has been really busy. I've averaged 5 hours of homework each night (psych not included). My teachers don't really give me time to do my assignments in class. It's *supposed* to cool down later this week. I don't think it will, just because it's marching season. I really don't see the point anymore of trying to put make-up on. We all sweat it off anyway. We learned some of our 2nd drill today. Wow, I'm amazed. This years show is going to be harder than I thought, but it's going to be so cool. I think we're going to blow a lot of people away with our show. It really is a powerful start. I hope we can do some sort of Pirate theme next year. That would be awesome. Someone (I forgot who) wants me to run for stu-co vice pres or secretary. Nah, I'm just trying to get some community service hours in so I can be in NHS. I must say that I did hear some rather depressing news as to a friend of mine. I'll write more about it later, but I've got some homework to get done, tests to study for, music to practice, and chores to do.
