it's saturday night 8.26

Actually, it's not Saturday night. It's Friday night. I just had a song from the 10 Things I Hate About You soundtrack pop into my head when I went to title the entry. First Cru social of the year made me feel like a social reject, although I played 4 Square for awhile. I think I'm socially inept or something, but I didn't feel like getting to know people. I just wanted to hang out with my friends. Oh well, I guess that's what tomorrow night is for. After the Cru social, some of us from my floor tried to go to see Hitch, which was supposed to play on central campus on a huge screen but because of rain earlier this morning, they moved it inside and there wasn't enough room for all the millions of people to try to watch it. Bummer. Or "Bummy" if you will. So we came back and wanted to build a fort in our den, but it was too hot and sticky and so we ended up just watching Saved!, which I bought today for $7.50 at Target. I like that movie a lot, although you have to have a huge sense of humor to watch it and also not be in the Christian bubble. I like that it points out that everyone has something they struggle with, that's easy to forget sometimes. But Heathyr stopped by and watched with us, so that was fun. Tomorrow night, TP and I are throwing Jenn a birthday party for her 25th birthday on Sunday. The theme is "Dress Like Jenn Night" but she doesn't know that. We are going to have a finger painting contest and then an "Alias covert mission" ((aka: scavenger hunt)) and, of course, food and what not. I hope Jenn likes it. She is really nervous about turning 25. Heck, it's hard for me to think about having a friend who's 25, much less be 25 myself ((although I have 4 years to get used to that)). Anyways, my life is sad because I am tired and going to bed, but some people might come by tomorrow and deliver my new futon from TP so I have to get up earlier than usual and clean and move furniture and I want to do that before it gets really warm in this place. you know you love me ;)
