family day

My sister is home again. She got here yesterday. She went back to Oklahoma while I was in Minneapolis but now she's back until this weekend. Since her and Albert broke up, I guess she's lonely or something in Norman. It's kind of fun having her around although I'm sure we'll get annoyed with each other. Today was fun. I actually had to get up at 9 to go to an appointment which took FOREVER and a half. I need to remind my mom not to make my next one at 10 in the morning because that's when the waiting room tv shows Martha Steward Living. That show makes me crazy, although I did learn how to clean that nasty garlic smell off of a cutting board. Woo hoo for me. After that, I came home, made some jell-o, and then decided to go run to Hy-Vee for last minute groceries since I told my mom I'd make dinner tonight. As soon as I open my front door, ready to go, there's Cindy walking up my driveway. She asked if I wanted to go to the mall with so she could pick up a ring that she had to have fixed at Kay's. I was like sure, as long as we stop at Hy-Vee on the way home. So that was fun. I've found this new fun game where Cindy comes to a nice gradual stop at like a light where there's other people waiting and then when she stops, I jerk forward and then back like I have whiplash. It was soooo funny, I am literally laughing about it now. After that fun excursion, I came home and got a few things done and then my dad dropped my brother off so I could spend some time with him. We watched the movie Beethoven and then the Disney channel for awhile. Then he helped me set the table and stuff until my dad came and picked him up. It was fun. So dinner was a success, I am so proud of myself. I actually have some skills! After din-din, Jessie and I went to Hollywood Video and rented some movies. We just finished watching Uptown Girls and are now going to start Freaky Friday. It's a regular GirlFest in this house! you know you love me ;)
