hopes and dreams

Time: 11:42 PM OH man, I am getting nervous about next week. I move in Monday, that's only like 4 days from now! AHHHHHHHH!! I'm so not ready! Plus, I have to go to that leadership conference on Tuesday, and I don't know anyone going. I am very nervous about that. What am I thinking, with this leader stuff?!?! I am no leader, I hate meeting new people, I'm too shy!! Help me!! ::takes deep breaths, counts to 10:: OK, I just had to get that out of my system so that the rational side of me can take over. The whacked out side made its point and now hopefully will shut up. Yes, I'm moving in 4 days but I can do it! It's not like I'm not coming home in two weeks away for Labor Day Weekend. I can get anything I forgot then. Really, silly Robin. I printed off a list yesterday from lowes.com's back to campus 2003 site. It seems pretty helpful, it has just about everything I would need, including things I wouldn't think of by myself, like my egg crate and blank video tapes. I need lists like these to be organized. And since I just printed it off, I don't have to waste my time writing a list. How smart am I? Still no word on the red bird (my truck). Took it in Monday afternoon, they said two days, it's Thursday. If I don't get it back soon, I'll scream. I really wish I had it today because I need to go get some things from Super T. Of course, since I have to shell out 1800 dollars for the transmission, maybe it's better that I'm not able to go out and shop. That could be bad, especially with all the cute back to school stuff. Speaking of which, I love the smell of back to school supplies. Like the fresh, unblemished notebooks and the unsharpened stick that become pencils. It reminds me of the good old days at Meadows Elementary. I just wish it was more fall-like when school started so that I didn't get all confused with back to school in the hot summer heat thing. "Bouquets of sharpened pencils" Now I really must go, as I have wasted a good ten minutes of packing time writing this and the dryer is buzzing at me. Which reminds that I'm going to miss free laundry, sad. Here's my updated list: *Take Ralston Public Library books back *Clean out van *Go school clothes shopping *Make appointment to get hair cut *Get hair cut *Thrift store shopping with Shafina on Friday *BBQ at Emily's Friday night *Dinner with my family (all of them - dad, Peggy, Phil, mom, grandma) on Saturday night *Church on Sunday (sad - I'm going to miss Faith) *Burn summer mix CD *Wash all my dishes, pack them *Seperate and replant Mom's plant so I can take half of it with me *Get Mary Kay stuff from Linda *Buy new, cheap watch at Super Target (Tinkerbell watch #2 broke last weekend) *Find laundry basket and fix OR buy new laundry basket *Finish cameras, take into Walgreens *Clean out fish bowl (very smelly) you know you love me ;)
