a big BOO for chemistry

2.17 PM Why am I feeling decaffinated, you ask? Well, because last night, I was definitely, definitely caffeinated. I drank two Mountain Dews in like an hour and a half. Considering I almost never have caffeine anymore, that's a big feat for me. But I had to be awake. I studied for my Chem test that I took this morning for 5 and a half hours last night in the Rec Room. Yeah, those 5 and a half hours started at ten though so I was up pretty late. I didn't get to bed until 4:30, my test being at 9. But I really don't have a feeling on how I did on the test. I just know I didn't like it. That doesn't mean I sucked it up though. Megan is definitely the best roommate ever. Last night, she went to Perkins at like midnight with Marissa. She brought me back a cinnamon roll and was going to leave it on my desk with a note that said "got you this so you don't have to go to breakfast" or something like that because she thought I'd be sleeping when she got back from P. But I wasn't. So after awhile, she came down to the Rec Room to check on me, sure I was going to be sleeping down there, but I was just sitting there, trucking through chapter 19. So after my test, which I went to with my hair down and in full curly, frizzy glory (don't you just wish you saw it?), I came back and slept until 1. Sleep is good, let me tell you. Yesterday was such a long day. I went to class, went to my appointment, came back, went to lunch, went to another class, went to work, bought a pumpkin at Hy-Vee, came back, ate dinner, carved Stumpy in our floor's pumpkin carving contest, went to Hall Council, and then started my studying. I really need to make more time for studying. Like, I should be doing some of it right now, since I have 2 tests next Wednesday. Especially since staying up late studying sucks. Oh well, maybe someday I'll learn how to study properly and do smart things such as "maintenance reading" (aka - reading before the test, even before the topic is lectured on) and what not. Oh yeah, and I didn't get the call or email or anything yesterday, sad. But I also didn't do any of those myself. Sorry, random person who left the comment yesterday, but I guess I just don't take advice from strangers. Speaking of strangers, it has been scary here in the all-girls dorm the last week or so. We are almost in lock-down. Most girls would be mad but I'm glad. There have been creepy guys lurking around here (Scary Cedric). Two girls have been assaulted somewhere on campus during the past week. One girl on fourth floor is being stalked/harassed by some guy. Another girl got her wallet stolen by a guy trying to sell magazines or something (which you actually can't do in the dorms). Basically, we are not to prop open doors or let guys in after quiet hours. At least I always have Babes to run away to. Well, I better go, I have Hall Council minutes to type up, a room to clean, Bible Study to do, Gilmore Girls to watch, and bags to pack since I'm going home tomorrow (woo hoo). I'm excited because I get to hang out with Shafina on Friday, since I told her two weeks ago and she cleared her schedule so she's all mine. YEAH!! I just hate it when everyone is too busy and I never get to see people. But I have learned to manage my time and schedule things ahead of time. Now, I just wish I could do that for my studies instead of just my social calendar. you know you love me ;)
