let freedom ring 7.4

Last night, Rachel, Brian, Cindy, Zach, Cayla, and I went to the Royals baseball game. It was the longest baseball game in the history of the world, I swear. It was 4 hours and 41 minutes. The Royals were leading until the 9th inning, when the Cubs tied it up. They went to 14 innings before the Cubs finally scored and everyone cheered, even though they weren't the home team, because everyone just came for the fireworks anyway. So the show finally started at 11:15, instead of 9:30, like they expected it to. It was a half an hour show with tons of fireworks and music perfectly timed to the explosions. It was so awesome, even if we did have to wait forever to see it. I didn't get home until 1 though because the traffic was so horrible getting out of the stadium. Happy Independence Day! Woo hoo for America and God bless us, everyone! No, wait, that's a Christmas Carol. Oh well. Tonight my mom and I are going over to the Picketts house because Mollie and Chad and the baby are in town. It should be fun to see Gage since I haven't seen him since Christmas. Mollie told me he started crawling on Tuesday. It's still kind of weird having a friend who is married and has a baby, especially since she's two weeks and two days younger than me. How bizarre. Um, yeah, I think that's all I have for now. you know you love me ;)
