Rams Day!

Feeling: smiley
Today was pretty cool. My mom woke me up prematurely to clean lots of things in preparation for my grandpa, who moved in today. So, I did a ton of work, and at about 2, I went to Rams Day. I video taped some funny stuff, and went inside. We all sat and talked and ate. Then I called Frank and convinced him to go, so he did. Then, as soon as he got there, we decided to just go back to his house to play video games or aomething, because Rams Day was apparently over. So, we went outside, and a bunch of people were out there, so we all decided to play blob. I had an asthma attack, and Duffy had a "fake asthma attack". Haha. So we sat out and watched with Brigid. Then they played Duck Duck Goose, and we watched again. Then most people left, and me, Frank, Vinnie, Drew (Walrath), and Duffy went to Vets to watch her brother's football game. We ended up sitting on the ground and talking the whole time while we watched some little girl take off her clothes, and we all called to ask our parents for permission to go to laser tag. Most of our parents said no, until we said "But Joe REALLY wants me to go", and it changed to a yes. Worked EVERY time. Seriously. So we were all going, but Drew couldn't get a hold of anyone at his house, so he couldn't go. We felt bad cause he'd never been before, and we got him all excited about it. We may or may not have told him that when you get shot, it sends a painful electric shock through your body, and if you get shot enough, you actually die. It's not our fault he BELIEVED us. He thought it sounded extreme. So I went to Frank's and Gianna's friend Allie offered me her old cell phone, which was AWESOME of her, but she didn't have it with her so she said she'd give it to me next time she saw me. That's really cool, cause it's the same kind I have, and mine's busted. So Joe drove us to laser tag. He's a really good driver. We met Stellato, Danielle, Vinnie, and Duffy at the place. Frank got this new game on his cell phone called "Love Triangle", which is basically a strategic text-based game with a few graphics. Really awesome game. I played it the entire way there and the entire way back. I beat it. Good. If I ever need to steal my best friend's boyfriend, those skills will come in handy. So, we got there, and we went in the briefing room, and I wasn't listening because there were too many distractions on the walls and ceiling, so I totally didn't know which button activated the shield. So a whole bunch of little kids beat the crap out of me. Then, before the second game, Frank reminded me. I got 6/29 in the second. Not too shabby. I'm getting better. Oh, remember the last time we went, and everyone put their elastic bracelets over the sensor on the gun? Well, this time Vinnie and I were the only ones who did it, and we both totally forgot about them when the game was over, and we left them on there. I was way too scared to ask the guy for mine back, but Vinnie had no problem with it, and the guy told him that if they catch him again, they'll kick him out without a refund. Which means me too, but he took the blame. Haha. But I got my bracelet back. Everyone was like "You cheated... at laser tag?" Anddd... they made a new rule JUST BECAUSE OF US. Haha. They put it on the rules and announced it during every briefing thereafter. We're practically legends. After two games, we hung out in the arcade and Frank and I played the Star Trek game. Two dollars to shoot aliens for thirty seconds. At least we got our money's worth. Then Vinnie became interested in the "Win a Game Boy Advance/MP3 player" game, or "Lighthouse" as they call it, so Frank and I watched him for a while. Then he ran out of money, so I had to try it. That game is so bad. I'm never allowing myself to go into a casino. We were SO CLOSE. EVERY TIME. We even started playing at the same time, and we decided if we won we'd share the prize. Haha. But Frank finally cut us off. Then a little boy started playing it, so we watched him. He got all the way to level five, which is one before winning, and he ran out of money. So he turned to me and said "I just need ONE quarter." But I didn't have any money left, so he went to find his dad. Just then, Danielle walked by the machine with some quarters in her hand, and me and Vinnie, who were suffering from withdrawl, yelled "PLAY IT PLAY IT". So she did. And she sent the kid back to level one. So he came back and started crying. Haha. I guess I kind of felt bad. Not really though. If anyone should have won, it shouldn't have been the little kid who played twice and almost won. We spent like $15-$20 on that game and won absoultely nothing. After that, we went to Friendly's and tried to watch the game from the window, but we couldn't see it. Haha. Me and Duffy got kay-sa-dillas for my thirteenth birthday party, which was what we were calling it. And the waitress totally bought it. Haha. Then Frank got an apple cobbler sundae and I pretended he was my boyfriend so I could eat it. And I did. But neither of us could finish it. Parade tommorow. Blecghhhh.
