Diary "I will do anything" Part 2

Listening to: Silence
Feeling: abnormal
I went to her and we fell in our arms; her touch was gentle, loving; nothing unusual happened. Her eyes however told the story. She had to talk to me. At first I didn't quite think it was going to be a serious talk; let alone a breakup. My ears were waiting for the words. My eyes saw uncertainty in Rae's eyes; fear. Then she started to talk, yet I noticed her effort to prevent herself from stumbling over her words. She told me what was meant for my ears. Schoolwork, stress at home, a dream that was invisible; she couldn't take it anymore. She was not able to be in a relationship, so she told me. So it had to be and she waited for a response. My mind was blank, all I could think to respond was a happy "ok". Stop! Rewind...Play: I couldn't think at all and my brain responded with the most neutral answer that it came up with. My body was shaking; my mind was racing and my feet carried me to all my classes that day. I was lost; I didn't know how to feel.
