A Win Win

Feeling: giddy
Yesterday was just awesome. Vikings beat the Lions but man did they put up a fight. Favre still has his "rocket arm" but like the commentators said, some point this year he will be knocked out of the game. He's 40 yrs and his body won't be able to take a season's worth of sacks. Bears won and I am happy. Cutler is good, I knew he would be with the Bears. I'm said to see 54 on the sideline but he'll be back. Briggs was just awesome on the defense with Vasher, Tillman, Brown, and Harrison. They're an elite defense squad. Lovey did right by becoming the defense coordinator again. Now I get to my Broncos. The poor Browns didn't stand a chance, especially after that 65 yrd pass that led to a winning touchdown last weekend. Orton has his new favorite WR and that is the former Colt's Brian Stokely. You heard right. The veteran is with the Broncos and proving his worth at every game. I am sad that no one aided the Broncos vs. Browns game but it doesn't matter now. I won both games! Too bad Purdue got beaten by NIU. We almost tied the game up in the fourth but the offense just couldn't get anything going in until the last 2 minutes and when you're down by 2 possessions, it's hard to come back and win a game without a few defense miracles. Never the less, this weekend was just great. Line dancing on Friday followed up by a free viewing of Up. Then I went bowling at the Union with the family and shot billiards until about 2. Of course the Masquerade show on WILY radio was great. Good job Douglas! Then the weekend wrapped up with yesterday's fabulous winnings. The only thing that would've made it better was if I had Molly with me, but we will be together again in 2 weeks. In the mean time, go Purdue! go Broncos! go Bears!

I'm counting the days before Polumalu comes back. I have a feeling every team will eat up our secondary until his return. We have a lot of things to correct. O-line issues and with that establishing a running game like the days of yore. Karma came back to bite us in the ass. The two missed FGs the Titans had in game one edged us out in game two. Even stevens now, just gotta pound the Bengals like we usually do.
better lucky then good I guess. One curve to the right for either of two field goals and that game is dramatically different. Oh well. Good game.
