december 20th 2008 saturday 9:03 pm found / bought this wallet: in the upstairs of an antique store downtown. at first glance it appeared to be missing the closure to keep it shut. i took it to my father who made me realize it was stuck to the part it is supposed to clip onto in the first place. he gave me a block of wood after he super-glued the closure back and told me to apply pressure to it. it is sitting on my magazine / camera desk right now with the piece of wood + a few books on top still. i honestly can't wait to use it because my other wallet is really just a coin purse with an area to put cash & cards in. it has "saddle pigskin" embossed in gold near the bottom of the coin holder. not sure if it's genuine leather or if i really care ;/ i also found a well-sized bow made of silver for $1 that i gave my father to fix as well. he somehow put a small hoop on the back so that i can add a necklace chain in it. that's the plan- to make it into a necklace- but it's not going to happen unless i get around to going to a craft store. this is just a small task and i really want to wear it soon so it will probably get done fast. working in a bakery + this seemingly fr-fr-freezing weather = fucked up hands :(

Always young and cool :]
I won't judge you seen as I've been hitting it pretty hard this week :]

Halls are like I guess what you call dorms? The university has I think 10-12 buildings that are sectioned into flats that hold 8 people on average, each person has their own room but they share a kitchen and bathrooms with the rest of the flat, unless you are rich and then you get an en-suite lol.
They are mostly for 1st years and then you get private accom.

Even though i'm first year, me and my ex. got a flat together and that went to shit so now I have to move into a flat full of people that have already known each other for 4 months :(

I <3 the wallet...good find :]
